I already bought rapture. Honestly, I can care less about these games but I'm not going to throw a tantrum over it like these children above. They're an added bonus to ps+. If you count on the "free" games each month to satiate your entertainment due to a lack of disposable income, you should start to sell your shit because video games are the least of your worries
I understand the logic behind it and I will admit it's a very well written article, but pertaining to the title, I hate such absolutes. "Ruined gaming for me" is so over the top and all encompassing that it should be embarrassing when compared to the content of the writing. Something like "Losing my thumb in an industrial accident ruined gaming forever for me." Is a much more appropriate "absolute" when comparing the subject and predicate of the sentence.

Killer app? It would have been so on the 360 if that were the case. Too little too late from Gears here. I'm sure it's good but I can't see myself buying an XBone for this game specifically. I hated all the others, I wonder if this one has the infamous Gears MP lag and host advantage like the others.

Agh, can't get into the multiplayer. I hate the supernatural power ups. I loved uc2 and last of us mp but can't get into UC4. The campaign is a true masterpiece though

I've always been a horror buff and gore hound. I like the most violent games there are. But none of it holds a candle to the real thing. I volunteered as an EMT for a time and was on scene for a fatal car crash twice. Nothing can prepare you for the reality of it. I hope I never see such a thing again. I'll stick with video game violence and gore.

It really doesn't. My question is this, why give a shit what he says? MGS 5 was a mess story-wise. He starts problems and gets fired and because of him, silent hills was cancelled. Aside from that, maybe it's a blessing as every game other than MGS that he developed was utterly forgettable. People make him out to be a god when he's really just a little man with an oversized head.
