To each their own. I prefer it to be as real and morbid as possible. It's not entirely for pleasure though. Such an atmosphere of foreboding doesn't glorify war as the old call of duties and medal of honors did. I think shooters should retain some of that grounding. I've seen a lot of kids enlist in the military for the wrong reasons, thinking war is a video game, your targets pixels. I enjoy the foreboding. When actions have consequences. I think it's important for kids to kn...
Black ops 3 campaign was horrible. One of the worst. I couldn't even finish it. Before IW, the last one I enjoyed, surprisingly enough, was ghosts' campaign
First rule man, don't defend yourself from trolls, never ends well and once they see they're getting under your skin they turn it up a notch for a coup de grâce. That aside, very well written article and although I don't entirely agree that it's "too" morbid, I see your point. I personally like the foreboding atmosphere. BF1 had a similar feel with some of their war story campaigns
Link? Not being a smart ass but if something sounds too good o be true, it's usually too good to be true. What size is it?
Honestly, you can probably pick up a 2015 SUHD tv for a good price. I bought a Samsung JS8500 55 inch last December for $1800, fantastic tv, HDR, the works. It's already down to $1100 for the same one
I'm a hater... but I bought it. It's really not bad, infinite warfare. Side note, crazy to see GTA 5 is still in top 10 after 3 years!
The US has proven to house imbeciles of all ages. Just look at their presidential nominees and you'll see what I mean
Pretty confident. I'm glad you had the chance to properly play and review the game before jumping to such a concrete conclusion.
Team fortress 2? I hate cod but that doesn't even make sense. That's been happening?
It really is the consumer to blame. Many people prefer comfort and familiarity over the "unknown."
Put it this way, the reason we still have an annual CoD map pack is the same reason Duck Dynasty ran for 10 seasons while Cosmos only had one. It's the same reason that a dangerous reality tv star is on the top of a major party ticket. Americans don't want to think, it pains us. Why think when you can just veg out and accept spoonfuls of the same recycled ga...
If you can dig an annual map pack at full price then more power to you, champ. Gamers with a modicum of taste prefer variety and while it might not be a "bad" game, the guitar hero effect is starting to take hold. People are getting sick of the same-old rigamarole year after year.
Well see what happens after this year. I looked at my friends list last night on PS4. 88 players online, only 3 on IW/MW. Whereas when battlefield premiered I'd say 50/80 were on it
PS4 pro is its perceived 1:1 competitor and Sony set the bar early. They're (Microsoft) now in a defensive, reactive position. If it's higher than $399 USD, it will be a flop of monumental proportions.
What I know is this, I have an OG PS4. I've never owned an Xbox One. I'm holding out for Scorpio since I have a 4K HDR Tv that can take advantage of it and want a 4K blu ray player. If it's $399, it's mine. Any higher and history will repeat itself when I buy a PS4 pro.
A lot of people, myself included, jumped ship to the PS4 due to a lower price point and no inclusion of the intrusive Kinect. If it's priced higher than it's perceived 1:1 competitor...
I'd say it only partially misses the mark. The intro had real heart to it. The second campaign with the tanks was great as well. The others seek kind of hammy but I like multiple protagonists because there's no singular multi-talented world war 1 soldier that went on a globe trotting adventure to save the war. It focuses on specific people with specific roles. Hopefully SP DLC comes out. I'll be interested
Chances of me buying the Nintendo Switch are "Exceedingly Poor."
Can't play a game as advertised? Works well for me. If it goes down due to punks launching a DDoS attack, it's back up in a matter of hours, not days or weeks. The game is working exactly as advertised. In these situations, there's no easy fix. There's leg work to be done and these guys hunker down to have it resolved in the shortest time frame possible because they care about their fan base. Remember, some faceless entity named EA didn't just walk back to their cauldron t...
Dice always seems to have if fixed within a matter of hours too, it's not like it's down for days or weeks. I sometimes think that certain gamers live in a fantasy world where even the slightest inconvenience is a personal affront.
Perfection is impossible when punks are banking on you to fail. DDoS attacks are just that, attacks. Battlefield worked great for me last night and by the time I'm out of work I'm more than confident it'll be working again. Dice has the servers back up in a matter of hours which is an acceptable time frame. Now if it were days or weeks, different story.
troll!!!
