What happened to those Chinese nerds who publicly destroyed their PS4s because a Chinese company was ripping off Breath of the Wild? I bet they're all playing it now spending their life savings on this game.
No king rules forever.
It's criminal that Sony hasn't used the Astro Bots to a far greater degree than they have.
If you have a good PC, there's pretty much no reason to buy a Series X and honestly, Microsoft doesn't care if you don't buy one because they ultimately want to make you become a games pass subscriber. That's their ultimate goal. To make you become addicted to their subscription like Amazon Prime and Netflix has. They want you to become dependent because in due time, they'll make back that money and if they can reach a future where they don't have to pour R&D and m...
This really needs VR though.. I hope that's the surprise.
I've bought it but I'm sitting on it because I know that there will be a PS5 patch for it. I mean there just has to be..
The worst thing Sony can do is a knee jerk reaction that will see them in the red for years and years to come. They already have an excellent line up of studios that they fostered themselves. If any acquisitions are to be made, it's going to be FromSoftware, Blue Point, and maybe Konami being the biggest but I just really don't see how that's happening. Konami would be absurdly expensive. They're not exactly struggling.
Maybe the PS4 getting Spider-man as an exclusive has something to do with it.
If Sony could buy Konami or just some of their IPs and FromSoftware and Blue Point, they'd be set.
The way I see it is that the only reason they'll still continue to release consoles is because Sony is still fighting in that corner of the market. If Sony were to be defeated and went the way of Sega in the future and all that was left was Nintendo, you can bet your ass that Microsoft would stop making consoles. It makes no sense for them to continue making them and would instead just encourage people to use Cloud gaming and buy into a subscription. The only reason consoles still exist i...
For all we know this whole thing could backfire on them with pretty great consequences. If these studios end up becoming the next Rare or Lionhead, it'll just make gamers distrust Microsoft even more. If Elder Scrolls 6 comes out and it's full of paid mods and games as a service, there's going to be a lot of flak thrown at Microsoft for it even if it was Bethesda's call.
This is a great boon for Microsoft, I just hope their little experiment succeeds and doesn't end up RARE'ing every single studio under their umbrella.
I have no idea how they're planning on making money by making all of these games for free. Games pass can only go so far and they've already admitted that it doesn't make them that much money. If this doesn't work out, the quality of the games are just going to drop or they'll have to keep pumping in money to float it which even for a multi-billion dollar studio, that won't last very long when investors start asking questions as to why.
Do people think that if they don't get a pre-order then it's over because Sony is just going to completely stop production of the PS5 or something?
I was really hoping for a Collector's edition to go alongside my PS3 special edition.

It's funny that every console generation release, people expect easy access stock of 50 million units and everyone gets one launch day. It's NEVER been that way. It's always been chaotic, limited inventory and shortages for the first 6 months or so. Although, the bot problems of today just exacerbate it. Chances are that you're not getting one on release day, just make peace with that fact and should you score one, count yourself lucky.
It honestly does not look like a game that should cripple a 3080.
Sounds to me like you're a scalper.
They may as well advertise a flying unicorn.
