Here's another:
1 perfect example is the Splinter Cell series. They looked FAR better on Xbox.
Gone are the days of console-specific optimization like you saw for PS2 / GCube / Xbox.
Madness...?
THIS
IS
SPARTAAAA!!!!
*sigh*
450 people???? Wow.
LOL, use Firefox in combo with Adblock Plus.
Most of us have only known this method for about a thousand years...take your head out of the sand much?
Fact.
It only makes perfect sense. Reduce manufacturing costs, reduce motherboard size, therefore reducing heat and the need for a huge case and massive cooling...
It's perfectly sensible to expect a PS3 slim. Advances in design, reduction in cost of parts, and reduction of heat output and shrinking of die sizes and component sizes would most definitely allow for a slim PS3.
I expect it and welcome a slim PS3 with open arms.
lol!
At first reply -
I'm talking about THIS GEN. Hello? PS2 or One doesn't fit into this.
And the hard, true facts are that the 360 is far, far worse in terms of reliability than anything else out there, and attempts to downplay that by highlighting the very few cases of failure in the other camps is just plain idiocy.
Whine whine cry cry boo hoo. It's fact that Sony's and Nintendo's machines are far more reliable this gen than Microsoft's.
Get over it, and stop trying to claim otherwise.
The end.
Yeah I'd really enjoy seeing some proprietary engines on the 360. I'm a former 360 owner, although I might grab another 360 if they do a totally redesigned slim version of the hardware, along with more developers making their own engines and sharing tech like Sony devs do.
The 360 is a capable, albeit somewhat flawed machine.
LOL @ Garry's Mod intro...that was hilarious, especially at the end.
Even a 1080p digital download would still be compressed and of lesser quality than blu-ray, but yeah the title is a little bit misleading.
Well duh, of course the disc-based HD medium will win versus compressed crap MP4 from iTunes.
DUH
lol dang, 3.3 mil for a glorified demo? Impressive.
Hey SS!
I just went through MGS4 campaign in 15 hours, 11 hours faster than my original 26-hour time...I don't know how, after a 10-month break from the game, I managed to do that.
Anyways, I went to download the latest MGO patch...and it's absolutely friggin massive. Both the HTTP and the P2P downloads take horrendously long, and both times I've had to give up because I just got tired of waiting.
I'm going out of town for a few days, so maybe I'll just let my PS3 sit there ...
Haha well I can say I hung around with Anthony for a little while and Jeff Rubenstein, but not Ted Price! Lucky bastard lol
No more Halo please.
