Dual-boot Ubuntu 9.04 / Vista here.
I use Vista for music creation program called Reason...and some PC gaming, and Ubuntu for everything else.
lol
Wow, that actually looks really cool. Music was great too. I would be scared fighting a terminator in the dark like he did at 22 seconds :P
what's the skaaaaay?
Yeah, all the "mee too" stuff that's been happening this generation is just...annoying. I hear ya.
Including this new Sony remote...but honestly...if it works and it works better, then why not?
If it's a cheap knockoff and nobody supports it and it's lame? Then good riddance of course.
Considering this remote is from Sony indeed...I expect good results. All my accessories I have from Sony are very high quality. The PSEye, for example, has 4 ex...
Did you read about how much more accurate the setup is inside this new remote? Right off the bat, it should already be more accurate than the Wiimote.
Now will it COST the same as a Wiimote? Probably not. My bet is this thing would release at either 5 or 10 dollars more.
lol I support this if and when it's released, but I already have a motion sensing controller for the PS3 here in my house:
It's called the Sixaxis / Dual Shock 3
Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory were absolutely superb.
They really need to build off how those two were structured.
The games have always been really pretty, too...great set-pieces and multi-path level design. Being a spy / agent like Sam Fisher, you should have the ability to tackle a level pretty much any way you want based on your favorite move and skill set.
I think Chaos Theory used light and darkness the best and I loved the introduction of the ...
I miss Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory.
Exactly...which is why it bugs me because they should slap some of the real stuff into the interview to make it more interesting
You want something that has vocals that fit the action on-screen?

=)
You can't disagree with me. The game DOES have a low polygon count, and SOME of the effects are not up to par with other games. Even the devs themselves have admitted to the effects being sub-par by saying "they've made small sacrifices but hope the player won't notice". And as far as the low polygon count...it's a bigass friggin huge map with 256 players...everything is really low-poly (even the gun models), trust me.
That's fact, if you're disagreeing, at least grow some...
That was CGI cutscene images, people. I highly doubt FF XIII will be 1080p native. Although I may be wrong because FF has always been known for its static environments and frequent loading, so maybe it's possible we'll see a 1080p resolution of some sort because there won't be some massive game world for the PS3 to render at all times.
There's PLENTY of PS3 titles out there to "justify" your purchase. Open your damned eyes.
Because of the size of the maps...duh
There was ONE in-game shot in that entire interview, the rest was CGI and concept art...I hate that lol
BLU-RAY IS DEAD
Long live the 12 year old DVD format and forever may it live!
/stupid
That music really could have done WITHOUT those lame chant vocals.
Eh....everything is still really low poly and some of the effects are dirt cheap but that is totally forgivable for 256 players.
It's progressing, I'm liking what I'm seeing.
Regarding the processor:
You, presently and for quite some time now, can't buy a Mac with anything less than a dual-core processor. (Even the Mac Mini has 2.0 or 2.26GHz Intel Core2Duo with 3MB L2 cache)
Also, his DUAL CORE 2.6GHz processor probably performs significantly faster than yours, has most likely a larger cache, the system RAM is probably clocked faster, and it has a slot-loading drive.
Not that those would totally justify a 2900 dollar price p...
