Yeah if you really think a PSEye title was the reason for the death of 8 days or Getaway...I'd beg to differ.
There's still something about the way the cars are lit that makes GT5 seem to have the edge.
Well, GT5 also has higher poly cars, more OF them on the track, and 128-bit precision HDR lighting, and it runs at a higher resolution so naturally it'll look more convincing than most other racers out there.
Forza 3 is definitely a fantastic-looking game, but...there's just something missing and it's bugging me.

Turn 10 has proven to be too arrogant for my taste. Even if I was a 360-only owner, I still wouldn't buy their game based on sheer disgust regarding their attitude and disdain for the most well-respected racing sim developer in the world, Polyphony Digital.
