This PRE-ALPHA footage ALREADY blows away EVERYTHING that EVER came before it, in terms of graphical polish, lighting, effects, animations....EVERYTHING.

LOL I haven't had a SINGLE little teensy-weensy problem or issue with GTA IV, and I've played it for about 28 hours.
My PS3 is a 60-gig manufactured in March of 07, so it's a year and 2 months old now.
Yeah, the fans kick on fairly high when playing GTA IV, but I feel the console, and it actually feels COOL to the touch, because the huge-ass fan is doing a GREAT job of accelerating air through my system.
I love my PS3 and how unflinchingly reliable it is...

Sounds like something that could be successful.
I think it would be cool, maybe, in Home, you could go to virtual news stands, and pick up virtual magazines, and read gaming news, Sony news, developer updates, demo impressions, etc.
There could be SO MUCH done with interactive media through Home....it's amazing, the potential it all has.
Here's hoping Sony takes it and runs with it.
I agree on all points actually, but I just wish ATI, or nVidia, or BOTH of them, could release a video card that has some longevity to it. I don't like seeing new video cards coming out every MONTH...
I wish we could have some kind of standard that is upgraded once or twice a year, instead of every month.

This should be a sidescroller / 3D platformer. Crash Bandicoot games were a wonderful adventure way back in the day, and I miss the level selection, and the boss fights, and the linear levels with a couple side paths here and there...
