I just bought Prologue last night and I'm very impressed.
The handling and engine sounds and the interiors are VERY distinct and noticeable from car to car.
And don't even get me started on the grahics....wow.
I love the Nurburgring Nordschleife....my favorite track by far. Anyone who can get under 7 minutes lap time really knows how to race.

About people calling you:
You can put your phone on suspend mode. It's in the options menu. It will put the story on hold, people won't call you, and you can go about doing whatever you want.

No amount of fanboy drivel can change that.
The PS3 has a high learning curve, but once developers get a serious handle on it (like some 3rd party devs already have), you'll see amazing results not seen anywhere else, not even on PC.
I just bought Gran Turismo 5 Prologue last night....
Oh....my.....God.....it is the most beautiful game I have ever played...
I mean, PGR4 and Forza 2 are beautiful games, but WOW.....GT5 just creams everything else.....DAMN.
What seems to be the issue here is that the people who are against racism in these mediums of entertainment are ALWAYS THE ONES WHO ARE BRINGING IT UP FIRST.
It's always the people who are advocates against it that are the loudest, regarding the issue.
I really really really really really really really really really miss Stage 6. It was SOOOOO much better than youtube, and not only were the videos higher quality, but the content was higher quality too (usually).

The 360 is easier to develop for (FACT). The PlayStation 3 is generally considered to be the more difficult one to develop for (FACT).

Why do trees explode on contact with things in your game? How come you can shoot directly at a wall support, and it just takes out the wall section next to it? How come you can't destroy a building.....but just its roof and walls? Do you have no mind for physics or gravity and how those things would affect a building that's had the crap blown out of it?
