That would indeed be very cool, perhaps a studying aspect is in there....you can take pictures of animals, and learn about them, their habits, related species, social interactions with eachother...
It would be pretty cool to be able to take video also....sharing unique animal interaction moments with your friends....like maybe one time you managed to sneak up on a lion as it was sleeping....or you swam in a small lake where giraffes were drinking, or perhaps even spotting a cheet...
The game IS beautiful, and the sheer beauty of the animals and the amazing animations and textures made it look like I was watching National Geographic....it nearly brought me to tears!
I can imagine this being a download / Blu-ray hybrid like WarHawk or GT5p.
I'd buy this in a millisecond, just for the exploration aspect alone...If they recreate the plains, forests, mountains, deserts, valleys, rivers, and waterfalls like they really are, this game could surely be ...
Oh come ON knight, can't you appreciate some artistic games when you see them?
Please?
If you can't, then troll over THERE ----->
Or who knows, maybe you're just saying that because it's a PS3 game. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason, actually.
Yes, he's a 360-er, and he takes every chance he gets to criticize the PS3, through snide remarks, crude insults, general misinformation, and lack of proper reasoning.
The best trailer for this game.
What really impresses me is the animation (take a look at the cheetah, as it calmly walks off a rock towards the end of the video....you can NOT say you aren't impressed by that incredible animation...sh*t....it doesn't even LOOK like animation....it looks REAL), and the HUGE amount of animals on screen....that's a lot of AI routines...
The textures are phenominal also....and this trailer was from a WHILE ago....many many months.
Hopefully Alone in the Dark does well....the game is showing the signs of being a technical and atmospheric masterpiece, especially with the lighting engine and the inventory system.
The "sequel" to Bioshock needs to be a *prequel*.
We gamers need to know and experience Rapture as it was BEFORE the Eutopia became a dystopia.
I miss this guy too....nice guy all around, and just a pleasure to listen to and watch at demonstrations, conferences, demos, promos, etc.
@ Above post
no need for name-calling.
This is the Gamer Zone....name-calling is for people over that way ------------>
I bet you've never owned a Sony console.
Speak from experience, it helps your reputation.
Sony consoles have given me some of the most emotional experiences in my life.
Final Fantasy VIII brought me to tears.
No, I'm not a psycho Final Fantasy lover, it's actually one of 2 FF games I've ever played.
Final Fantasy captured my emotions and my attention with only one attempt.
There's something special about the PlaySta...
You speak in pretty broad terms hotshot.
Not everyone that is intelligent or nice is just trying to bullsh*t you.
Hiphop is not some universal language that everyone speaks, let alone understands.
Surely you must realize this.
Yeah can't forget ALLLLLLL the other genres.....with everybody having agendas nowadays, someone will "speak up" for each genre.
*rolls eyes*
You'll have these guys running around hyping games in their own weird styles.....CountryGamer, FunkGamer, ElectroGamer, TranceGamer, EmoGamer....
A bus, followed by an angry mob of 400-pound fat people trampling him further, then an entire armored division of the US Army steamrolling him again with various extremely-heavy pieces of tracked equipment.
Then an A-bomb (with a smiley face on it)

Perfect.
Wow a Chief Game Designer singing his own praises? Imagine that!!
In my opinion, this guy is a f*cking retard, and his quote is a direct insult to the MILLIONS of man hours Polyphony Digital puts into mastering their craft.
NOTHING can touch Gran Turismo, no matter WHO you are.
This guy needs to learn some respect for the proven best in the industry.
Serious disrespect.
Why do game developers have to be bullies? Why can't they j...

Wow....that looks so incredible...
I remember the old red alert days back in the mid-late 90's...good times =)
No, sorry.
Sony did NOT promise anything.
Nowhere in ANY of those "evidences" you provided did anyone PROMISE anything.
Unless someone says to me "I promise (blah blah blah)", then it's not a promise.
Simple as that.
ESPECIALLY in the business world.
This guy's got a huge brown stain on his nose.
I can smell him from here.
You know....after hearing how much was cut from other GTA games.....GTA IV is starting to feel a bit thin.
There is NO WAY someone would EVER want their game to be played.....

Home is going to crush every other attempt at a social network.
I am so glad SCEE took the time to really put the details into it, and it's really beginning to show.
Home sweet Home!
