I really enjoyed the first two games.

Something about Deus Ex and its atmosphere really grabs my attention.

I can tell that the trailer was made using in-game assets with CGI enhancements. That seems to be the normal route they take now.

I can safely assume that the character models will be close to what we saw, but less polys and worse animation (obviously).

I must say though, that Jack Tretton is a HORRIBLE actor. Everything he says sounds extremely rehearsed.

Really dumb move. They are missing out on potentially hundreds of awesome candidates that are, through one circumstance or another, unemployed.

What if someone lost their job yesterday and they wanted to apply today?

Seriously...idiots.

Well I can already tell the poly count is lower...but the lighting, textures, set pieces and facial animation (which was awesome in heavenly sword) should be great.

This is one of the few games in the world that has an option for real-time ambient occlusion. It usually brings most machines to their knees.

Although I would suspect most modern cards can handle it decently. My old HD3850 ran it with AO at about 15 fps.

I would go with a 5870.

Just like I thought. Showin' better color saturation, sharper textures, better draw distance, and I hear there's also sound occlusion. Wonderful. These are the kinds of improvements I like to read about.

Next, we'll hear more about the story and gameplay changes / improvements.

Lookin' forward to it!

I swear, the next thing we do NOT need is someone with Marathon Pro and Lightweight Pro with super twitchy controls noobtube-ing and knifing everyone in this game.

Let's keep the weighty controls and rank / weapons unlocks. That'll do just fine.

But DON'T EXPECT CALL OF DUTY CONTROLS YOU NERFHEADS

The difference is, this is an accessory that will be REQUIRED to play some games. This is not a console or a stand-alone system.

I don't care if they put the world's most advanced cameras in Natal, it doesn't give them the right or justification to shove it in everyone's faces and hail it as the next thing in gaming when it's going to cost almost as much as an Xbox 360 itself.

If they don't want to scare away their entire installed bas...

Oh stop defending Microsoft.

I don't care what it is, if any accessory for any console costs 3/4ths the cost of the console itself...there's a problem. Big Problem.

It's not like this is a racing wheel or something...Natal will be REQUIRED to play certain games made for it.

150 bucks?! Hell no!

Nope, it's not pro logic dude. It's 5.1 Dolby Digital surround. I'm not stupid. The only way my amp does pro logic is by several button presses and a menu selection. PL is not automatic on my system.

The PS3 is DEFINITELY re-encoding the stream to Dolby. Definitely. There is literally no other explanation. None at all. I'm getting dedicated sound channels to all 5 speakers, and the 5.1 dolby light is lit up on my amp.

Blu-ray is not the biggest draw, doesn't matter how many closed-group surveys you find. That doesn't represent the 35+ million PS3 owners worldwide.

The issues Sony had were obviously not as bad as the 360 debacle because I don't recall the FTC threatening to place a ban on the sale of the PS2 or PSOne.

While Sony consoles did indeed have disk drive issues, the 360 falls prey to a MYRIAD of issues, totaling well over 30 system-breaking errors.
