I just won't pay this much for an MMORPG anymore. Not after playing something like Guild Wars or DDO (read: free).
This was not run on an Xbox 360, this was on a dev PC

Interesting, so it seems animation is being improved with the use of mo-cap. Nice.
I like the 360 slim for finally wising up and separating the optical port from that awful multi-a/v cable. And the integrated wifi, which should have been there since the beginning.
Yeah, Steam pretty much is PC gaming at this point. It's the unified front of online purchasing, friends, server lists, and content provision and updates we pretty much all see now.
Any game worth playing from any worthy publisher or indie dev WILL be available on Steam, no doubt.
Well one would assume that if they are developing Portal 2 in-house (which they are), then all future Valve titles will be made for the PS3 as well.
No no no no no...this is not Sony's change that happened here...this is all Gabe Newell.
HE realized that Sony has the most open platform and is most willing to work with Valve and provide the best console-based system within which they can integrate their own service (Steam).
I also think that newer and easier dev kits and better inter-dev support finally got Gabe's attention, and that dev'ing for the PS3 isn't as horrendous as he used to kno...
Agreed on all points.
It's quirky like that so you can't jam it into a regular DS, but DS games will still fit in a 3DS
Seriously, are you a retard or something? I mean really...
GT5 cars have more polygonal detail in ONE HEADLIGHT than an ENTIRE CAR in GT4. I wouldn't call this just up-rezed. Also, there are TONS of new physics THAT ARE APPLIED TO ALL VEHICLES.
And...every car is going to have a cockpit view. Only SOME will have the additional fully-rendered interior. I think you for some reason you are not able to comprehend the difference between "fully-rendered in...
all cars have cockpit view, only a certain number have fully rendered interiors besides the cockpit view.
Also, all cars use the same physics, only a certain number of them are rendered with full body damage and panel removal.
Get your facts straight.
This trailer was primarily a quick glimpse at night driving and a few seconds of rally and nascar at the end.
The focus wasn't on crashes, so what's the big freaking deal here?
That would be dumb and easy.
I can't stand it when there are grammar issues in the titles of stories.
On topic: No.
Your generalization and stereotyping of iPhone games is wholly incorrect.
I agree...I don't like this PSP ad campaign. Kevin Butler has the perfect amount of sarcasm, humor, wit, and great acting to compliment the Sony product line without being too arrogant or aloof like the past campaigns.
Yeah...the iPhone 4 has a WAY better screen and has 512MB ram, an A4 processor like the iPad, and it has a gyroscopic sensor, touch screen, built-in compass, accelerometer, front-facing camera, IPS display, and graphics capability that will go beyond what the PSP can do.
Overall, the iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad are platforms with more potential than the PSP.
Sorry, Sony. I love your PS3 and the PSN, but I don't particularly appreciate the PSP when you star...
Um...that's a really shortsighted and immature look at iPhone gaming. There are lots of FANTASTIC iPhone games, and I'll be damned if some new smartass kid that's part of a new PSP ad-push is gonna tell me otherwise.
I don't like a kid doing PSP ad campaigns. They should just use Kevin Butler for PSP as well as PS3 and PSN promotion. He's PERFECT at what he does. Don't fix what ain't broke...and KB ain't broke.
Guild Wars says hi.
It's rated higher than:
Both Everquest titles
City of Heroes
City of Villains
Aion
Champions Online
Dark Age of Camelot
Warhammer Online
Eve Online
Lord of the Rings Online
