What about the other 3 people that wanna play karlowma? Not everyone has space for 4 full-size individuals to prance around in front of the television.
Some people aren't gifted with light-on-their-feetness. I've seen little girls who can't even walk without nearly stomping. Can you imagine a birthday party of girls playing this? It would sound like a herd of elephants!
And how do you know it wasn't acting, just like the On-stage Kinect fake demo?
"For all I know that 3DS is just a hologram image like killzone 2's loading screen. "
That's what I was thinking. You can't do real 3D without having two separated image fields being processed by each eye.
I have my doubts about the 3DS.
Sony played it safe? I don't think so.
New Twisted Metal even though Jaffe denied it up and down, left and right...
GABE NEWELL, one of the most outspoken anti-PS3 developers on the planet for the past 3.5 years, walking ON STAGE and eating his words on live television and in front of the press? Yeah..."passable" my ass.
Sony freaking KILLED with the two bombshells. Twisted Metal and an in-house Valve-developed Portal 2 with exc...
Ok, clarification.
YOU DO NOT LOSE PURCHASES YOU MAKE WITH A PSN + ACCOUNT
YOU ONLY LOSE FREE STUFF GIVEN TO YOU AND THE OTHER PERKS WHEN YOU TERMINATE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION.
I'm pretty sure it's not going to be on 360. Remember when Gabe Newell himself said Portal 2 on PS3 would be the best console version? By that, he meant that Sony's open-platform approach ALLOWED Valve to use their own proprietary Steam Cloud service to control when and how they update their own game, and to give current or prospective Steam users the option to be able to keep their savegames consistent across all platforms they choose to play it on. Well...at least Mac, PC, and P...
He referenced Steam Cloud, which enables Steam to independently update their game on the PS3 whenever they want, and it syncs game saves from your copies of Portal 2 between all platforms you play it on.
Beardpapa...that's an excellent question. If I were forced to guess now, I'd say yes.
I think it was a combination of potential profit + openness of the PS3 platform + increased ease and proficiency of PS3 dev kit + inter-studio dev support + free online play platform on PSN which is not dissimilar to Steam
yes, being us counter strike! BEING US IT!
You have totally misconstrued all points. There are fundamental differences between the purpose of PSN Plus and Xbox Live Gold.
Also, some additional clarification regarding PSN +.
Purchases made while having a PSN + account are kept upon termination. Free gifts however are taken away upon termination. As long as one gets to keep discounted purchases from a PSN + account...I could care less about eventually losing free content.
And I have ind...
Seriously?
The difference is, LIVE Gold charges for many things the PSN gives you for free. Of course LIVE Gold also has some additional features, but that's besides the point. We're talking about core online features here.
The perks in PSN Plus are things that are totally unnecessary to the common gamer / individual. They are not things that will DETRACT from the CORE EXPERIENCE of free online play, chat, messaging, and such.
Surely you can see the difference b...
A company can start a premium service and create / enforce any rules they want to.
Normal PSN users still get video chat, online gameplay, audio chat, party chat, etc. etc.
If you want something that's PREMIUM, then you have to maintain your membership, or your accrued benefits go away.
Well that kinda goes with any subscription service.
With Netflix...you *technically* own thousands of streaming movies, but when you unsubscribe...you no longer can access them at all.
If you cut up your blockbuster card, you can't rent movies with them and you have to give any movies you have back to the store.
There will always be games you buy from PSN, but the stuff from Plus will be perks that come at a price. And if you don't wa...
It's Infamous *2* and Portal *2*, dude
It was just the tiger woods game dude, chill out
Gabe should have walked on with a piece of cake and said the cake is NOT a lie hahaha
That is not announced, nor is it even implied.
If you listen, he said steam CLOUD. That's game updates and transferring of game saves between platforms.
There is no evidence that any of that brings on a proper cardiovascular workout. Did you measure their heart rates? I can guarantee that maybe 5 people in the whole world will actually use this for some sort of actual training regimen and weight loss.
