I don't like how CDPR seems to be leaning much towards MS's console, which I'm not getting. I hope W3 will be just as great on PS4 since, so far they've done nothing but saying as much positive stuff about X1 while being a bit iffy about the PS4.
Ahh, this is not what I wanted to hear :/
I hope the PS4 version will at least play and look as well as the X1 version then.
*sigh* you know I'm a bit in the middle in all of this. I remember being completely awed by the graphics of Super Mario Galaxy, thinking "this looks like a PS3 game" (resolution aside). If the art direction is good and the engine is good, Halo on X1 can beat the crap out of Uncharted if it were. Bottomline is we're going to see better-running and better-looking games for both systems in the coming years, and even if PS4 has the edge, it wont mean X1 doesn't get exclusive...
Forza 5 looks like Forza 4 with less fluff :P
I like how not-subtle Japanese marketing companies are with just about everything that is anime nowadays. They sure like cockteasing. It's basically a hentai-cover at this point but the game seems to be nothing like it. I guess that's the Japanese equivalent of the generic "Protagonist bad-ass posing with war in the background" kind of cover that appeals to mainstream audiences.
So mainstream japanese people want something that's overly suggestive... dun...
But it still doesn't really make sense to do so if it's just a 100 bucks short of being a console, because while there will be PC exclusive games, spending so much money on a thing like Steam Machine only to play PC games on it and nothing more, it's kind of a bad deal when Xbone and PS4 has great exclusives and if you spend 1-200 dollars more you could get a gamer PC with everything else a PC has.
I'm probably just speaking for myself here, but I don't se...
If they're going all retro-y with their next Zelda game on Wii U like on 3DS and make it top-down view I'm not gonna buy a Wii U at all. I love ALBW but if a game like that was on Wii U, it would just be a missed opportunity because we need that albeit Last gen, HD Zelda game that's epic and it needs to have a good storyline. Something that seems to have been abandoned since TP. (And we want that MM3D remake!!)
But 3DS has good third party support and IIRC it even had that while it wasn't selling particularly well too. The Wii U has been even more overdue and it doesn't look like the tide is changing, even with it's "flagship" Mario game, which really isn't anything special compared to what SMG was to the Wii.
The problem is they haven't got enough to advertise with. "Why do I need the gamepad?" Seriously. It's at least half of the price that goes with that thing and what does it do in the best games the system offers? Nothing I couldn't do without, that's what.
So far there's two games I want to play on Wii U and they're not really anything special aside from being fun replayable action/platform games. There's nothing that feels like a must-ha...
Miiverse is more like a bubble though, and it's still not as accessible as PSN or XBL to my experience.
They've both gotten streamlined and are more accessible for everyone. The later stages in most Mario games are still hard but it's really not something to change Wii U into being for hardcore gamers.
"Could you be the one to finally finish me...?!"
No,that's what David Cage does. I find it strange some people want him to quit the industry or make regular games just because his games are different. It's what this industry fucking needs! Variety, and he's bringing it.
I would love him to continue writing stories (but stay away from whatever it was for a line of thought you had when you wrote Beyond O.o) but they should keep making them into interactive cinema and I hope their next game will have more choices a...
So this is a source from a guy supporting the now debunked indoctrination theory? Dudes, this is bullshit. He's delusional like the rest of them. IT was cool until the Extended Cut came out.
I really don't think so. They were definitely not planning a direct sequel initially, and either way a Bioware internal once confirmed that the writers never plan things ahead, at least not elaborately, so they can't be foreshadowing a sequel if they hadn't written it beforehand, and I'm sure they haven't. There's so much evidence that the next game is something they've made up since being done with ME3.
FTL travel should be very fast as well. It would mean system-to-system travel just takes three to five times as long or something. I haven't done the math myself, but I don't think it's that bad with the Relays gone.
I still don't get why Japanese people fawn over Lightning. What's so special about her? She's almost the flattest character I've known this gen.
EDI even speculates if there's something beyond the scope of the "Mass Effect Galaxy" in the main game of ME3 if you talk to her at a certain point in the game. Maybe they always wanted to try that out?
It's sad to see this topic is mostly viewed by Nintendo fans who are in denial. The Wii U will get better, but it has had its chance for redemption and I don't think it's ever going to be defined as "a success"
Nintendo went in with a completely wrong idea when they came up with the concept in the first place and now they're paying for it.
Did you hear people saying 3DS was a bad Idea? I don't remember that. It had a significant ...
Even though I think the Witcher games overshadow Bioware's Dragon Age by coming out in the same year, (heck there'll be a short month span between W3 and DA:I as well) I'm just happy that 2014 might be one of the best years of RPG in recent memory. I can't wait to get both games.
