Wow your dead right. I haven't got it on PS3 but a quick check on the internet shows this is a bug everyone is getting
Yeah steam have done it well, they always give you as much as the publisher will allow. Some games need steam on and connected to the internet, other don't. They give you the best they are allowed while providing you with a price that makes you wonder if it's even worth seeking out a second hand copy, and often being vastly cheaper than the optical counterpart during the sales.
If consoles could do that then used games may not be much of an issue anyway
Well it seems we aren't getting it. We just get the standard beta like everyone else will
Even life is unlikely
Actually it's just a matter of piecing together the puzzle if you know a decent amount about tech.
So to start, Wii-U as been mentioned many times to be using Power7, Something IGN took into account when building their own Wii-U from the specs developers had mentioned.
This leaves MS/Sony with a choice of matching the Power7 or stepping up to a Power8, While Power8 is a possibility its also unlikely since keeping the launch price down is going to be a pri...
Don't worry, 2013 will be the year no doubt
I don't get what makes a geek or a nerd anyway. I have played games most my life, for many years and still will to come. I try to spare as a lot of my free time to gaming. I stay up late gaming some nights. Doesn't stop me having an actual life either. The generalisations just seem to make no sense to me
Maybe we could use it to time travel back to the PS1 days....Ahh the good times. SO many games, so little time
@theEx1le
That's actually the reason I chose little deviants over Uncharted for my first game, It really does display the features really well, I have Escape Plan too but I would say LD has more replay value. Plus some of those games are pretty addictive. Its a good bit of training for all the new features and how to use as many at once too
It certainly is looking to be the best Kinect game so far. There's just one issue I have (and it will probably cost me another bubble) But I don't see why it would need Kinect? It's a nice addition to the game, but it could be done on controller too. Basically it just isn't enough to make me go pay the asking price for the peripheral. This is definitely a step in the right direction though
I agree however I think this gen is partly to blame too. I don't doubt next gen will bring refreshing new ideas. But I feel this gen is stretched as far as it can go. Maybe with more raw power the devs will be able to take the AI a lot further, since AI is normally the worst thing in a game
Gaming will only crash if people stop buying, Costs are irrelevant unless the consumer base shrinks. To developers it will be a lot more detrimental, But if the Dev Kits are well designed then it can help to reduce that problem. I should imagine the big names in the industry are often discussing the issue and solution.
Until the new consoles are released nobody is going to know how much of that market is still available, since most who want consoles already have them. However...
I agree, Rico often had me cracking up in laughter. There really is nothing like being in a jeep, getting hurtled through the jungle at 100Mph, Smashing off and through trees, performing more flips than a gymnast, then finally landing on a pedestrians head, mutilating them...and Rico follows up with "Crazy damn pedestrians!"
So we get character skins and more motion blur than necessary?
That screen looks awful, the one piece of wood on the right has a decent texture, the ground looks like its running on ancient tech, and everything else is too covered in blur to even make out
Yeah the always on DRM annoy the hell out of me, glad that's not in the way. It certainly does look good, Just so far I haven't seen any trailers showing you taking control of vehicles or being able to take full view from your squad to help highlight more targets.
It's certainly looking good, I just really hope these two concepts make a return
Sooner than I thought, can anyone say whether this is actually retaining the gameplay G.R.A.W. is known for or has it been 'Called to Duty'?
If it's been gimped I will probably just get the last 2 Advanced Warfare entries on PC instead
They just need to add life to the already large enough map. With some hugely upgraded AI and better physics, More to do outside of blowing up government stuff for 100s of hours. Well they could be on their way to crafting the GTA killer. The map definitely wasn't rockstar size, it was way beyond that.
Oh and submarines, that could add a lot, maybe even an underwater facility or two
Sorry but next gen games are not going to look like Samaritan, that is at least another gen away. If we were to get games that looked like Samaritan the dev costs along with costs of consoles would be through the roof.
Samaritan at the times was running on 9Gb of VRAM, Apparently it could be optimised to fit onto 3. That was running on 3 cards with a value of $600 dollars each, that is not what next gen will be, Nor will it be 1 card with 3Gb of ram.
We will...
It never ends. For as long as there are video games, there will always be atrocious parents looking to blame anything they can rather than dealing with the situation themselves. Because at the end of a day, they're just too damn lazy to take responsibility
that was my general feeling, I love MK, I will probably get it when its cheap 1 day. But it's not going to come with the split screen I love so it's a big peg down from the console versions
