A lot of people make loose jokes when doing AMA's on Reddit, it's not really uncommon and it's just supposed to be a good laugh. To be honest I'm surprised anyone turned it into an article
Edited because I got things wrong, thought IGN created the story first but it was the other way round.
Also, I can't say I've ever wanted to know how much Hyrule Castle cost anyway, there's more interesting things going on in the game
That's a good point actually, but I would expect them to continue at least one. Surely the previously created assets will be given to EA, so I'd place bets that they won't throw all of it away.
That said I'm pretty sure they also have their own ideas of what to do with the franchise too
Actually the engine has been in the works for quite a while. The reason not too many people knew about it before is because they only plan to licence the engine, whereas EA and Crytek have to push their engine to customers not just developers.
To put it shortly, they don't need to blow smoke since they aren't selling to anyone who isn't well educated about the software already. Hence we just see a rare video like this instead of seeing them fight for headlines.
Well, I don't necessarily have the greatest amount of trust in EA, but I'm just glad to see somebody pick the IP's up.
I should think that to a lot of publishers the IP's look pretty high risk considering most of the games included have suffered cancellations.
This is also why the site I write for stays away from this sort of thing. Not only is it a cheap tactic but it's downright disrespectful to the audience.
I won't divulge who I write for since that's just as cheap, but all I'll say is that we'd all choose slowly growing figures over easy hits and it's a shame that this sort of stuff takes the limelight from actual developments happening in the industry on a daily basis.
Really? I thought the trailer released by Kotaku the other day was from a version that LA were working on? I could be wrong though.
But yeah I know LucasArts weren't exactly the best devs out there. I've just been waiting on BF3 for a long time and it sucked seeing another trailer of the game that might never get released. Not to mention the idea of 1313 being based around Boba Fett was awesome.
I just hope they outsource them.
I know, it's a bizarre situation really. I mean right now they're bringing back two games from my childhood whilst at the same time killing Battlefront 3 and Star Wars 1313. I can see how this fits with their stance on violence in games though whereas LA's work might not so much.
You forgot the word 'obligatory' by the way
So 208 comments and still nobody has noticed that Paul Thurrott also confirmed the always online necessity and even that MS are focusing on TV in this very article?!
For the love of god, read before you comment people. There's people in here trying to say its all rumor just because that's what the headline says. Try reading the rest of it first.
It's longer than 6 hours. Not that it really matters in this case, your probably gonna want to start a fresh playthrough instantly.
This game actually deserves a 10 out of 10 unlike some that get it.
Actually Rockstar already clarified who this was based on and it isn't Kate Upton, I can't remember who it was right now or be bothered to dig around for it but it's not too hard.
It was quite difficult, but also it wasn't entirely skill based. Since the bird spawns were random and could come in large waves that section was pretty luck based.
I remember finding a trick though, it was good to stick right for the first half of the race, then as you cross middle of the Calms Lands it was best to shift over to the left a bit more. This worked for me pretty well provided you got the right bird and balloon spawn points.
Agreed, FFXII is an overlooked gem. Sure it didn't really have the typical FF story, it may have even been a little bit weaker than most FF stories due to the inclusion of Vaan.
But man that game had a hell of a world, I spent 140 hours traversing the lands of Ivalice, felling every hunt target and claiming every single weapon in the game. Even hitting lv 99 with all characters.
You know what? I'd do it all again if they released it in HD with trophie...
Obviously. I mean, you know you have a problem when one of the highest end phones becomes incredibly hot after 15 minutes on a game like The Simpsons: Tapped Out.
Form factor alone means the Smartphone market will always have a huge barrier between them and the consoles.
I actually added those to our site earlier today. I would run it to N4G but since a couple of those screens are also in this post it would probably just get reported anyway
google something along the lines of fallout 3 crash instantly. Somewhere there is a thread on steam that solves the issue, I can't remember where but I had the same problem about a year ago.
They aren't actually worth 14 billion USD though which is why you are getting disagrees.
That is only one aspect of the financial side of their company which I believe I am correct in saying that is the shares? If recall correctly anyway.
That isnt actually including assets and many other things. It's easy to get this mixed up though as most sites are reporting that as a total value of the company, whereas realistically their company is still worth si...
surely that would be open galaxy instead?
Surely DoG 4 would be called Modern Wauzer so they can get away with an extra trilogy
