FYI, from the past games I can think of that did really good face animations none are at this level. HL2 being one and my personal favorite.

I don't know about all this 'new AA' talk but the game does look really good.
Amazing graphics, sure. Flawless gameplay? Not so much. Frames-per-second dips are obvious in the demo.
Not "Ninja Gaiden 2 stairs level" bad but still noticeable.

I got the Aperture Science cheevo on 360, its harder on consoles because you can't wall climb, etc.
With that said, Portal 2 will be big because Valve won't just release a 4 hour stand alone game on the holidays like that. Expect P2 to be at least 8 hours. Good stuff.
