Now God of War 3 is the most overhyped game in existence, only after Uncharted 2 thanks to the ps3 diehards. Good job.
God of War 3 is a good game but it's too late, 360's already a success. Come again next gen.
1st. Wii
2nd. 360
3rd. PS3(last,fail)
That is cheap, if only to use it for the OS.
Or a Giant Enemy Crab? Lmao
1. Battlefield: Bad Company 2
2. Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
3. Dragon Age: Origins Awakening
4. Metro 2033
5. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Chaos Rising
6. Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition
7. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
8. Aliens vs. Predator
9. Assassin's Creed 2
10. Dragon Age: Origins
Some real numbers finally. And the result is not bad, not bad at all.
"There slow on the games....
Thats there problem."
Correction:
They're slow on games...
That's their problem.
"1st party titles always smoke 3rd party titles."
Currently...
FFXIII > White Knight Chronicles
BF:BC2 > MAG
The Fallout 3 world looked highly realistic(played pc version) and well done, but Metro 2033 takes it here.
Looks exactly the same.
Bump this, I still have a stack of games I haven't beaten. I'd say, hit me back around next Christmas.
I ain't touching it until it's official, I burned one of my cards already.
The point of this game is that its a hack-n-slash with QTEs done right and one with an actual story. Looks great in motion too. Sure it has slowdowns with the fps coming down to a crawl and it can be long(Gow2 was definitely long) but still a great game.
I have no complaints on how this game looks, it sold me on the gameplay. So far so good, until the full game. Carry on fangirls.
"Be patient. PS3 games have legs. That's what I read on N4G anyway."
LOL.
Yeah, we shouldn't take VGchartz numbers seriously.
Edit: @Sparta76
The thing is I'm still playing Mass Effect 2.
Hardly the greatest game. It was great for its time. It innovated in nothing more than "highly polished set pieces". 'Greatest game in existence' is seriously pushing it. It's pure hyperbole from here on out. Quote me.
@Murder
Strange, I had the exact opposite experience. They kept spotting me whenever I went too close and they kept killing me. Remember, all the AI remembers is the last view of sight if you go back into the dark.
Anyway, enjoyed the demo and going back to see if I can infiltrate in another way.
I would put the first two trolls on "ignore", if I were you all. The game is fantastic, it plays fantastic and controls way better than other stealth games I've played(no names). They nailed it. The full game will offer much more in terms of content and gameplay than this, so count it all joy. Its coming!
Bathroom scene in particular was bad*ss, felt just like when I saw it the first time(E3?).
I love everything about Kratos except his voice acting, still terrible. Not as bad as Metal Gear Solid's though, MGS's is still annoying as h*ll.
Looks like 360 version for me even if my PC can max it. DRM FTL! :(
This kind of competition is healthy and necessary, lest the industry grow stagnant.
With that said, I particularly don't prefer Uncharted 2's overall look. I find the many vibrant colors distracting, as well. Granted, it is a good-looking game, I just prefer the more realistic look of Gears. If Epic can turn up the graphics on its already great-looking game, I'm all for it.
