Well, I "Gold Rush" is a remade map from Gears PC. The rest could have been maps they didn't get to finish in time for release, imo. And if it's free, who cares?

Metal Gear needs to die off already. New IP Kojima, if you're even capable of that. And easy on the cutscenes, after all Metal Gear isn't a JRPG. I still hate JRPGs with more cutscene than gameplay. The ps2 was full of them. Anyways, rock on.

I completely agree. If you've seen my Gow comments, I have warned folks time and again not to hype this game way before this post... (btw, big Gow fan here).
Nothing like a big ps3fanboy hype-parade though. Never even seen footage and it's "teh roxxorz". Gow 1 & 2 didn't need to be hyped for me to have gotten it, both were great games.

I was happy about the feature because it reduced drive noise significantly when playing games like Gears of War on my 360. Especially when I'm playing with the volume down on my computer screen trying to be quiet because the wifey is sleeping in the next room but can't hear the game because the drive is so loud.

same rate they charged before in Gears 1. Only first batch of maps were free, but that only included 2. After a certain time they were made available for free, a la halo.
Congrats to devs @ Epic...gears 2 for best shooter.
