Yeah not sure why this got approved it has nothing to do with the gaming business. Mostly to do with the other divisions mainly the office and windows platform and them using those platforms to leverage other things like AI.
The article just mentions that MS makes Xbox gaming and it’s part of their digital ecosystem. Which is being reviewed overall but not specifically the xbox business. I guess a dry day for news.

You don’t have to theorize to realize they just want more money it’s as simple as that. $1 deals cut into the profit it was good for growth but they want more profit like the majority of corporations.

They have done it payed developers to make games worse for their benefit. On the original Xbox clearly the Xbox was much more powerful than the PlayStation.
