It’s fun and more content and it’s free in case you didn’t get that you did not spend a penny for it. Yeah battle pass sucks but it’s not necessary at all unless you want new skins for your favorite character. It’s really fun and that is what gaming is about having fun. People say the same thing about cod but people have fun let people have fun

Agree the only good thing about it is that it’s free. But the battle pass kind of sucks at least with the loot boxes they did give you free ones when you leveled up but now you have to buy the battle pass.
But at the end of the day it is free and the core game is really fun still.

No it’s not but it’s the principle. Excluding people from certain content is what they are arguing about. But they are doing the same thing. Pretty hypocritical but it’s business as usual always trying to stifle the competition so it’s normal.

Game pass is the future they have around 20 plus subscribers and are making that much no wonder they are really going all in with it.
The funny thing is exclusives in that sense are a thing of the past almost all console makers with the exception of Nintendo are becoming multiplatform. So I guess this is the closest thing to an “exclusive”
@mrdead from my awareness publishers don’t make games developers do. So when buying a publisher yes you ultimately get other things besides the developers. But that is the big price the ip that the developers make.

He should just enjoy his subscription and play online. Agree what’s the point of an Xbox if you don’t get game pass. It’s almost a waste it’s such a good value why wouldn’t you get and it’s cheap considering.
