appart from what Rockstar has said, however I dont think they will just go out on a limb and proclaim this title as being in the same league as GTA and then it dissapointing, I dont think they ave the balls to do that concidering what it would do to their rep.
Its a great game that both 360 and PS3 deserve to play, its a shame that so many 360 owners missed out on MGS4 and this is the right move by Konami.
One a different note where is the new Project Gotham Racing game?
I am no boubt happy for MS, being the underdog last gen they have gained quite some ground but the fact that the PS3 has 23-25 million sold in 2.5 years means it has sold more on average than the 360 has in 3.5 with 30 million sold. Despite that we should rejoice in the fact that this increases revenue which in turn means this will benefit us gamers in some for or another, may it be games or improvements to the console itself.
For the most part this kind of speculation resurfaces every time a big game like MGS, Final Fantasy, GTA is in the works and one should learn to ignore it, the frustrating part however is when large respectable site begin to do the same to get a couple more readers, thats when it starts to piss me off. When sites like IGN start with headlines stating news they have heard from a "reputable source" which later on turns out to be complete BS.
Can't wait so see what Kojima'...
if you disagree then say why, no wait you probably don't own a ps3 and you haven't played the game, Chris399 you are right on target, I have no problem with someone coming out and saying I played the game and hated it, because some games appeal more to some than they do to others.
Loved the Demo, now started the actual game and I am hooked, more than fallout 3, more than Saints Row 2, maybe even more than with Killzone 2 or Mass Effect, I'll find out soon enough.
God of War II is one of the best games I have played, it miles better than gears 2, their reviews look really biased.
But reviewers should nontheless be more objective with their reviews, from what I have played this game deserves no where near a 6, it has a couple of flaws, like pop in, but I'm loving the story so far and the gameplay is solid once you get the the hang of it. And saying the city looks bland is a retarded statement, the city looks great with many sights and beatiful architecture, I really couldn't disagree more with this review.
I'm soo excited, loved the demo, the reviews are good with a few exceptions nitpicking at pop-in and a weak story, while other sources state that the story is awesome. I'm going to stick with awesome and hope I am right.
for me to make that deduction. I personally haven't found any, and I also have time to monitor every peice of tech thats out there, from what I have read this isn't s big issue and thats what the point of what I way trying to say.
In addition I did say "enlighten me if im wrong", which translated to as far as my knowledge of the issue extends this was the case, which means I don't have extensive knowledge about it.
I have been eagerly anticipating this game for a f***long time now.
But fair enough you did, I can't have a negative opinion about a game, besides I don't think it was that good for it's genre. I'm not a fanboy but I think Singstar is better, but ofcourse that immediatly renders me a rabid fanboy doesn't it?
I don't want to see another Lips game thats for sure.
I know blu-ray can be ripped (but i haven't seen any pirated ps3 games, enlighten me if i'm wrong but don't be douche about it), but it's more difficult, thus less common and if you read my comment I was saying that the GAMING PIRACY surrounding PS3 games isn't as big of a problem as it is for the PS2, but some time in the future it will be.
I was very excited when I saw virtual stereos and TV's in Home, It would have been soo cool if I could stream movies or series off my virtual TV to friends across the world.
It definetly needs to continue selling, because then it'll stay hot online for a longer time meaning I can enjoy it for longer.
I've been using my discount cards and trading in old games to get by but this solves all my worries, thanx bro.
But I live in Sweden and we always get English copies, but I guess that's because we don't exactly have a huge population.
But I have to admit Im not going to be able to enjoy all of these games considering that I have a budget to keep in check, time to start saving I guess.
