How does having a bigger fan base make them better games?
Shadow of the Colossus has no where near the fan base it deserves, since it is a completely astonishing game on all levels, should it not then by your standards have a Halo 3 type following, there are a lot more PS3 owners than 360 owners, shouldn't it sell like hot cakes?

He uses it as an example since we gamers arguably do spend too much time on our consoles, especially since it interferes with school performance, work performance and time spent doing chores, time spent with loved one's etc. Please don't take this as a critique towards you as an individual, I acknowledge that I spend too much time with my consoles and it interferes with other aspects of my life.
Besides I think he knows the 360 is more popular in America than the PS3.
I'd love to get a taste of this game.
My only worry is how seamless it will be on internet speeds at the lower end of the spectrum, otherwise really cool.
That one console has sold more than the other over all time or annually, because in one sense the 360 is winning with over all sales, in another the ps3 is winning with average yearly sales.

Actually I don't because you seem to love the 360 and I can understand why, and that I respect you for. But you seem to take everything the PS3 does as a kick to the nuts, that I don't understand.
Many people on N4G take fanboyism to a whole new level, which is the reason for this site's popularity in my opinion. But why the anger, seriously! do you never run out of steam. You think the 360 is a better console over all, so what! I respectfully disagree due to personal preference ...
And while Nintendo have been riding the money train they have somewhat neglected their fans, no doubt does the Wii have amazing game's but they are a rare commodity and seemingly all the more scarce in comparison with Sony's and MS's line-up.
People still buy the Wii despite knowing that they don't offer as strong of a line-up, why? I think it's because people are scared of using a controller because it seems complex to use and it's something that requires a lot of skill to learn...
Because it sure as hell isn't for the lack of variety, the cheesy but very effective humour, the abundance of customization, fun gameplay, good story, co-op, the fun factor (this is worth repeating).
Because this game is over the top crazy fun, no game has made me laugh as hard (especially during co-op) this gen. This game is great and I dare to say overall I enjoyed this more than I did GTA IV (yes I went there)

Not to say it's a waste of money but damn your family seems to have plenty or is spending it on all the wrong things.
This is just so kids can spend all their pocket money on new LBP DLC and new Map packs. Because kids these days have no appreciation for games like Flower, Super Stardust HD, Fat Princess, Shatter etc.

You don't possibly consider that this could have been and probably still is (despite the delays) the busiest holiday in history when it comes to AAA games and it wouldn't be a very good move to release their game at such a time, instead they could delay the release and polish he game to make the product even better and ensure even greater sales?

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune was unbelievably good in terms of it's likeness to a hollywood flick, but this is in a whole other ball park.
Yet the animations in Uncharted 2 are spot on, it's hard to say with MGS4, such a long time ago I played it, but I'd have to say that the character animations in MGS4 are pretty damn good but the character models look better in Uncharted 2.
Wasn't this a survey conducted with 1000 participants? How can we know that these people were truly randomly selected, is it not true that these people could likely be hardcore gamers? Well in response to your opinions of the PS3's library of games which as of yet I have only trash talk about, which is fair enough, if you don't like them it's your business not mine, but your word is not law. I know MS is not excused and I agree, but not fully because if you look at the PS3's library it has only recently equalled the 360, if you look at the online the PSN has only recently been a service that can be mentioned in the same breath as the 360.
So my point is that both consoles had major issues upon release, it is only recently that the 360's issue is an unacceptable problem since the competition has sought to iron out any faults.

Both have a great line-up face it, it's sad that you can't face that, really!
