Because I certainly want a 3D TV and I am sure everyone else does too, there is a reason Avatar did so well (the movie not the game).

You guy's need to stop whinning, so what if some games look a little better on one that the other and one or two look a lot better, most games look soo similar that these arguments become redundant. How about this; play the game on the console which it looks best on and/or which console your friends play online (if the game has online).
But then again this could be the Demo that they showed off way back that didn't make it into the final cut.
and MS treating this like a new console makes this sound promising, all they need is one or two good games to release with it and most people will be sold, but I'll wait until there are 6 or 7 to make sure my purchase is worth it.
but I suspect that much like with previous GTA's the next games in the series will be within the 4th generation of GTA and next generation will be when we'll first see the 5th.
I mean I have no doubt Battlefield BC 2 will be awesome but the multiplayer in MW2 is almost perfect; from the way the guns feel, the map design, the perks and match types.

Hopefully you'll change your mind once you rent it but from what I have played and seen this game looks epic and you'll be one of the fist of whom I have encountered that thinks otherwise.
Will you buy Dante's Inferno? If so I am not going to value your opinion very highly because that game did a piss poor job of showing its guns in that demo.
Only Halo (the first) did anything to really contribute to gaming, but gears of f***ing war, are you serious? Have you heard of such games as MGS, FF, God of War, Gran Turismo, Half Life, Portal even Guitar Hero contributed more innovation, sales, awe than most of the games you listed.

2 good years, 2008 was a close call but MGS4 took the prize in my mind. Then again it's up to preference (for the most part) but this year if you don't like at least some of the PS3's line-up I am sorry but that is your problem not mine and if that is the case then maybe you should get you head examined.

Kids today are getting way to immersed in games that require little thought and imagination and while there is a plethora of those titles out there kids that young don't play those to the same extent and if it was the case that they those instead of their precious MW2 that as you mentioned they shouldn't even be playing in the first place.

Many exclusives haven't sold a gazillion copies on both sides of the pond but WHEN I ask does 1+ million constitute a flop. If you constitute critical appraisal + comparatively low sales a flop then basically many of the greatest games this gen and last are flops. Let me ask you this: Have you played any of Tim Shafers games before Brutal Legend? Fumito Ueda's games? Nix Quest? because basically all of those are flops in sales.

I mean this game will undoubtedly be hyped as a spiritual succesor to one of the best games ever created and the power of word to mouth will can be stronger that you think, then only time will tell.
But one thing is certain this is a great game in the making and if the only downside of it will be the sales then so be it but then again if one judges a console based of the sales of its great games then it's time to get another hobby (...truth 2009 among others)
This glitch off a Demo that was probably put together over a coffee break. If people get soo rattled up because of this you should just throw basically all your games in the bin.
In terms of graphics and handling GT5 P was great, in my mind they surpassed Forza's but the tiny details such as tire wear, glowing brake discs and the awesome sound of driving a Zonda through a tunnel, all of those things make Forza something special, I mean adding fuel to the mix is just genius, playing a 30 lap race and it still being engaging because your adrenaline is pumping because you have to brake as little as possible to save fuel is something I haven't felt in a racing sim before....
