With each sequel the copies sold usually increases ubfortunately God of War 2 was released in the mids of the transition between last gen and current gen consoles and everyone was too busy playing HD games and marveling at those capabilities to see the sleeping giant in the corner but now that it's made its way onto next gen platforms it'll shake up quite a storm especially with the hype surrounding it.

Well I'd like to argue the contrary because look what MGS4 did, those games you just mentioned are new IP's to this gen which means they'll take time to gather a following whereas such titles as GT and GoW already have an established following and I believe in light of the recent price cut God of War III will be thing that tips the scale and make them finally buy a PS3.

With all due respect I have played the most critically acclaimed games for the past decade and I know a success when I see one, and mark my words; Remedy don't spew out crap games with the promise of them being good, and I certainly don't see MS backing a title with this amount of hype for nothing.

I mean if HHG is right (which I am neither supporting nor denying) there are supposed to be some truly awe-inspiring moments that will make you question what isn't possible on a console.
Which to be honest didn't impress that much graphically, so no I don't think it is a fact because I haven't seen any extensive analysis of the the graphics nor the authenticity of those cutscene graphics being fully representative of in game graphics.
Now after watching it 3 times and comparing it to Uncharted 2, KZ2, GoW III demo no I do not see what is soo amazing.
I mean ME 2, SC C, Alan Wake, Reach, Natal, their arcade room (I forgot the name) I mean the 360 has a lot going for it to catch up on some lost momentum but I do see your point about Major game like Heavy Rain, GoW III, GT5 etc will do a lot to continue this already insane momentum the PS3 has got going for it self.

It's going to take a lot to trump what Uncharted 2 achieved, I mean that game was just out of this world, but yes if any games could one up Uncharted it'd be GoW III or as you said The Last Guardian.

On a side note you should probably stop judging games you haven't played nor ever will because in essence you base your opinions off what one or two people say vs that of a majority.
I felt myself struggling with the controls way too much while fighting the alien ships and the game doesn't seem like it'll have a good enough story to engage from beginning to end and make me forget about its flaws.

I didn't have as much fun as I have had in KZ2, MW2 and a few other but it was fun and I was more stating from a technical standpoint that far outshines 40 enemies and 20 vehicles in Reach, and I am not bashing Reach I am just countering Troll Eaters point.

It's a marketing thing, I think MS want more spotlight on the 360 rather than the 360 + PC and make it more price worthy (in terms of games) to purchase a 360 instead of sticking with a high end PC. The again there are those who have no choice but to buy a 360, because of money that is.
I don't care if this game is the best looking thing since the dawn of time in terms of 360 exclusies and i couldn't care less if the PS3 has a billion titles that look better, I wan't to play a great game and this looks like a great game. I can say with absolute certainty that both sides would be head over heals if this was a multiplat.
Both games look very good and I'd bet my left nut if we turned the stakes and switched the two titles around you fangirls would be arguing the contrary.
