The rush of the kill, the teamwork (when playing with friends), the actual guns requiring skill to use (mostly the rifle), the atmosphere. In short I loved this game despite it's somewhat underwhelming SP campaign. Very few games have set a scene so well and filled it with chaos, beautiful controlled chaos.

And in that list there would be many PS3 exclusives, however when the argument over performace arises (graphics or otherwise) Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 are the go to guy's so there's your reason for it being mentioned soo much. On a side note *cough* Halo 3 *cough*.
Because honestly it was sub-par for me, a lot can be done to improve the game in that department aside from that I have no real complaints.

Only refinements have to be done so in essence it's the same development time of the actual game because the engine probably took up a lot of the dev time initially.

Where-in lies the proof Rocco? Show me a game which is not multiplat which supports this theory because anything I have seen on the 360 has been done better on the PS3 by a huge margin.
1. Uncharted 2 is proof that the cell when used right can do some amazing things, I mean textures, draw distance, lighting, enemies on screen, objects on screen, physics calculations of building collapsing all look miles beyond any games preceding it with the exception of the lighting which could e argued is better in KZ2.
2. The PS3 is a new hardware design, thus people need to adapt, which takes time, which means that its easier now since they have had 3 years to learn the tech...

Your complaints rely on a simple principle that anything from Sony sucks but the fact that you haven't actually played any of the greats negates every argument you try to make because you are actively denying to even try them out.
They are not phenomenal but they certainly don't dissapoint, my only problem is the aiming whihc result is not hitting anything yet emtying a whole clip into someone.
You know Bayonetta has received a s***load more praise than that, and according to many sources the story gets a lot clearer as you progress.
