The people you are talking about are those who will only game on expensive machines, because they want to play everything super maxed out. That in itself is not an issue, its the minority of elitist morons amongst them who like to look down their noses at console players who cannot achieve the resolutions and frame rates that they can.

When the dude tried to please the mass in the crowd by basically demeaning xbox players as kids on consoles, I found that pretty lame. Those kids as he put it, are probably more mature than the fools booing.

I agree about role play, but I just don't feel easy looking at some of these, especially when many are made out to be very young impressionable girls.

Actually 12 or 13 feet is about the distance from most people's TV's to their couch. Unless you live in a tiny, tiny room.
Not everyone pulls a chair close up to the tv you know. I do :-) I got my gaming chair which I pull up to the tv, but I bet I'm not the majority.
Rendering at higher resolutions then scaling back to suit the hardware is nothing new in the gaming industry. Its been done for many years now.
However, I would like ND to focus on something new for PS fans. TLOU and the Uncharted series are quite new in terms of ip's.
