@Angelic
There should be a spam filter for n4g that would catch all of his pure flame bait submissions. However I get the feeling that many of the people running this site, like the anti-MS stance that his submissions always seem to take.
Wouldn't you rather be playing games than practicing your mathematics skills?
I understand that some people may have doubts.
Yet this hasn't stopped billions in believing something they've never seen. I speak of GOD.
Billions of people believe in technology and the screen they are reading at this very moment. But they've never seen the electrons that flow though all the circuits to make this 'magic' happen.
However, MS has at least demonstrated that cloud gaming is at least possible. Yes it was done...
All good things come to those who wait ;-)
Majority of games will look just like upscaled to 4k. The texture assets of the game are in play here. If developers have not provided textures that are any higher than 1080p, then after upscaling the quality will not be as impressive as you'd expect.
Current consoles will NOT achieve UHD. Period.
To get those types of resolutions, you'd have flat textures, the likes of which I've not seen since 3dfx days!
Dude I think you need to check again.
I've got a recent full hd 55inch LG, top spec. I've seen the same tv next to a similar sized Samsung UHD and curved, my tv looks rubbish in comparison.
I've never understood the hate for GTA4.
I totally loved it.
Maybe its because I didn't own a PS for GTA3 and the others. However that hasn't stopped me loving GTA4 and replaying it again on my pc.
I really enjoyed driving around with the 80's radio blasting out, being a youngster of that time, this really appealed to me.
Maybe I'm way off the mark here, but is NextLevel just Maria in disguise?
There's a lot of spilled milk in here.
@Aceman18
Its good to hear a gamer speak. You don't have to love something to appreciate it.
Dude Killzone is far from great.
I played KZ2 for a while. It looks pretty but it couldn't keep my attention.
Of course thats only my opinion.
A slimmed down version won't happen until AMD does a die shrink on the APU.
I wouldn't like to think how hot the PS4 would get inside an even tighter case without a die shrink.
Awesome days. Making a day of it to ride down to the local arcade.
Star Wars cabinets in vector graphics and real sound clips, YEAH!!!
Double Dragon two player, dual arcade sticks. Trying to beat your mate to the conveniently placed roast chicken to get some extra health :-)
Ikari Warriors trying to imitate Rambo and be a one man army.
Or massively multiplayer (4 player hehehehe) Gauntlet. Ah man I loved that.
Too true dude.
When Sony wasn't offering free games, did anybody whine about free games on Live then?
No of course not. Live was the best online service (better than anything on pc too and I use all the free services there).
Live was executed perfectly and the voice chat made it even better. Sony just couldn't compete. I have a PS3 and only played one online game, it was that rubbish. Never went back to PS3 online.
Sony did the 'free' g...
I think xbox just needs to start selling in very similar numbers to the PS4. Then developers will be more willing to commit to making XB1 games and trying to get the best out of the system. So seeing % rising for XB1 is a step in the right direction. Yes they are small % rises, but it was highly unlikely to achieve a massive boost.
Totally agree dude.
I do find it amazing the number of disagrees you've received. Are these people truly saying they don't want both systems to look great next to each other? Isn't this better for all gamers to be getting a great version on their system? Perhaps they think the PS4 is being 'gimped' to please MS.
Its not gonna be that price. Totally silly.
In actual fact you can't really build the PS4 for that either.
Sony lose money on each sale. ;-)
Ok I believe that mantle will have a significant boost over dx11. Kind of why MS is really pushing dx12 for next year.
I want to know how mantle compares with dx12. Plus can they both work together? Can mantle provide a huge boost for the gpu, while dx12 makes sure the cpu especially, is not bogged down?
