I just platinumed this yesterday. Really fun game, and the way they mixed up the gameplay really kept me engaged. The jet boots on savali was so fun. I spent a lot of time just exploring the map when I got those boots.
Spider-Man wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for Sony and Marvel working out a licensing deal for games. Spider-Man wouldn’t exist if when Sony asked Insomniac which hero they wanted to do they wanted Spider-Man. Spider-Man wouldn’t exist if Sony didn’t purchase Insomniac because you know they would’ve given it to a different 1st party studio.
There are a lot of ways/factors Spider-Man wouldn’t have existed. I’m glad all of them came together to make an amazing experience ...
Everyone I would play with is on current gen so I’m not to concerned. But it is sad that if I have the PS4 and PS5 copy I wouldn’t be able to play with my son. They’ll probably. Patch it later who knows
I don’t know if you live in America but GameStop has had the all access series X pretty steady. You just have to be approved for the credit line. And they send you a series X with 2 years gamepass. I just paid mine off this month. Got it last March
MvC2 required you to beat the game multiple times and earn an insane amount of in game currency in order to unlock characters that had random values to them and popped up randomly.
In game currency for SFV is earned in doing anything. Literally just doing daily task, the character tutorials for moves, beating the story mode and playing online. I unlocked 3 seasons of characters just playing the game. I bought the ultimate upgrade purely because I had less time.
...
But you could unlock them with in-game currency. That’s not really a paywall
SFV every character has their own music. And practically everyone does have their own stage, but we are talk over 50 characters at this point 25 stages is enough
As long as it’s as great as the first one then I’ll probably barely notice.
When I say the gameplay is barren/linear. I’m saying it’s enough to get you through the game but in terms of depth it’s lacking. Variation in combat is non existent, as you fight the same enemy types in a different skin but they really don’t require much strategy. Shoot with element above their meter and use a skill. Rinse repeat.
If we could’ve switched characters and get more variation in their styles it would’ve been more interesting.
As for the slidin...
There were to many glitches in the game for me. Some were funny others required a checkpoint reload to often.
If we do as many glitches in a lesser known game/franchise people wouldn’t have nearly as much leeway. As I said before the dialogue and banter was fantastic. But it doesn’t cover the other flaws the game presented.
A sequel hopefully would be current gen exclusive. Give more gameplay variation switching between characters. Have better space bat...
The gameplay is barren as it’s pretty linear just fighting waves of the same enemy types. And it’s not as often as you’d like, most of the skirmishes are completely forgettable.
There is almost 5 sliding scenarios per chapter. Even towards the end before the climax there is a sliding scenario getting towards a certain someone who was captured. It was insane how often you slide.
The choices still have no major weight. Only a total of maybe 5 choices can im...
I finished this game last week. Not sure how any reviewers could give it a 8-9 it’s a easy 6-7. The game has way to many glitches. The dialogue is amazing. The gameplay is actually pretty barren. The choices are mild in progression. The game has WAYYYYY to many sliding sequences. The fact we are in space and there’s only 2 dog fights in space is not where it’s at.
She’s in my top 10, I don’t have any particular order to my list of favorite heroes though so she’s a legit favorite. I enjoyed her development in dark knight metals her golden goddess form was awesome. Dead earth was a solid read for an elseworlds tale and she’s always a great ace in secondary positions supporting a story.
Considering ME is a game from PS3/360 era. Available on ea pass IN gamepass to play them. And this is just the legendary edition of them. You never playing them doesn’t change the fact people are praising an old game the vast majority have played and owned.
But it the psnow update… MK11 a relatively brand new game people are complaining about. Double standards between these services are clear
There’s absolutely nothing bias about what I said. Again the bias comes from people who trash one service for one thing but in the same breath praise the other for doing the exact same thing…. Gamepass just announced a near identical drop and people on that post are going “OH YEAH! Mass effect!”
The games are already ON gamepass and this is just the legendary edition and people are loving it so much.
And the funny thing… y’all don’t see the bias.
Imagine having ps+ and now, getting Persona 5 strikers, MK11, Dirt 5, deep rock galaxy, final fantasy 12 plus several other games and saying it sucks.
Waiting for the “I already have these games crowd”
ah nice! The downplays are strong in the comments on "I already own this or that!" as if your personal purchases equate to everyone else. How many people already had Red Dead 2 on xbox by the time it hit gamepass? How many people already owned Scarlet Nexus, Mortal Shell, Dragon Quest 11, One Piece Pirate warriors 4, Nier Automata, Shadow of War, the entire bethesda collection?
The amount of day 1 titles is still marginal on gamepass compared to old titles but it...
I’d pick the series S up either in a bundle with 2 games at its msrp or 200 on sale. And I’d buy it just to replace my sons one s. No other reason for me to have it since I have a series X.
Wondering why people are making it seem like this is an instant thing for Xbox. They bought a ton of studios 3 years ago to now with no real not worthy release from them because guess what “ new games require a budget, planning and release”.
MS buying these studios didn’t instantly flood the market. And it won’t instantly change what’s in development and how they function other then MAYBE killing some contracts they have with Sony and Nintendo.
It would s...
