The overall analogy isn't...but it is ironic that Crytek is catering to Sony given that they're a PC dev company and you'd think they'd jump the MS ship. So, maybe he's half right in his declaration of irony?

My PS3 bricked, too. I got the FRLoD, or flashing red light of death, for those who didn't know. I'd turn it on, fan would make a sound for like three secs, and off it went with light-a-flashin'! Press power button, light no flash no mo'! Press powah button again and, um, read back two sentences. Make very nasty cycle of events.

Who in their right mind would want to be able to take their game/movie/blunt over to their friend's house and be able to play/watch/smoke it over there? That's just stupid. It would make much more sense to make them take their PC/PS3/house over to their friend's place so they can watch/play what the downloaded, right?

Pfft, Arden Lynn was the cheapest character. If you started her long combo, (-> -> O O...), there was a point where she hit you three times with one hand. If you restarted the combo there the opponent would never get out of it as the third hit left them stunned and free to restart the combo... It was incredibly cheap.
Am I the only one who isn't really looking forward to this title? I guess I'm not that creative so it doesn't really appeal to me. Perhaps if it had an intriguing plot I'd get it.

I really don't see how him saying, "We haven't changed the direction of the development. We're making the PS3 version first, and then porting to the 360 later." means that both versions will be released at the same time... From his previous quote, it doesn't make sense. Nor have I heard him, or another SE rep say otherwise.
