Imo, they drug this out way too long. They should have just created the world as plainly as they can (without minigames, etc) with the ability to chat and enter games together from Home. Then adding on the features that were promised would seem like a treat. Now when they do it, it'll be like, "Yeah? Well, that was supposed to be there in the first place...two years ago." Just my two cents.

It's ok, I mean, maybe all devs will take away continues, extra lives, and saves out of games as to my knowledge, from taking university physics 1 and 2, those violate laws of physics as well. Something cannot be blown up and magically come back together. Mario cannot realistically avoid certain death from falling 800 miles by doing a damn butt pound! Doing so would be stupid as that's not what the game is about. I didn't know one of the features advertised about home was realistic physics. How many games with humans involve eating? Not to mention how bad GTA's physics are......

Reviews are important to some extent. I wouldn't ever buy a game that gets a 0-5 average on meta without at least renting. However, I won't go buy every game that hits AAA status either. I take them, like all things in life, with a grain of salt.
It's a shame how some people try to turn everything into a flamewar. PS3isGarbage, why even bring up Sony? You're just tarnishing an article about a great game. Imo, the greatest. I still remember that long quest to get the real Bigoron sword. Oh, but once you got it, it was so worth it. I remember capturing my first Po...only to be disappointed by how many more I had to go. Oh, and damn that stupid gold scarab (was it scarab?) sidequest!

As stated above, online MP helps. Time trial mode does not. I wouldn't buy Uncharted or Ratchet for the same reasons. No replay value for me. And if you WATCH the storyline of MGS4, you'd better be damn good to beat that in under eight hours. Hell, there's a youtube video of a guy doing it in under five, but I guarantee he spend countless hours playing it before he got to that point. No real skill/effort is required to be ME in under eight. It's just too easy.

Honestly, I cannot see this going any other way. Much like Miis, I made it, and never did anything with my Mii again after that in terms of design alterations. It's just not something that's gonna keep your attention. Cool that it's free.
