The whole "Save me, Jim Raynor, you're my only hope" easter egg on Blizzards website would have been cool if it came to pass. Jim actually "saving" Kerrigan in some way...
Still, they're all machinima, so they are related =)
OTOH, same thing can be said about anime as well, as it also contains all different types of genres.
I'm wondering if Tychus might take over the operations from Jim. I mean he has already sunken down to become an alcoholic, perhaps Blizzard will kill him off? =(
Yeah, pretty good actually. Very many machinima films are using outrageously bad voice "acting"...
Noo, I love animie! >=(
Machinima won't replace anime, but it's a nice medium imho.
Most interesting. Machinima today is at a level of quality so it's really worth watching, in my opinion. Just a few years back it was the nerdiest thing. It's almost on par with "regular" animated films now!
I would suspect that you'll still need some level of coding for the more advanced stuff in the editor. It's just soo much work "dumbing" the programming down with a new "language" just so "everyone" can understand it.
Mind you, I don't know any programming =P
Yeah, I'm just a bit unsure on the whole "different death animations for single and multi-player".. Seems a bit odd tbh.
Or does that mean like "ladder" animations..? I feel confused.. =P
I just think it's fun to finally see an answer about the map editor that doesn't say "yes it can do it, and everything".
I didn't expect to be able to that specifically anyway... =)
Well, it's not in the same league as Blizzard, but it's still really nice. Use the alt source to download it, and you can actually see that there is some good quality textures used!
Why does people have such hard feelings against Flagship? Hellgate, had it been executed better would have been a good game and opened an interesting semi-subscriber payment methid that could be most interesting to follow up for following MMO makers in the future!
Also Mythos is very fun to play and seem very interesting!
That particular delay is because they decided to change the whole game layout, making one consistent world, instead of the little maps. Still, the open beta is almost upon us now!
Man, there might actually be some way to restore my faith in politicians. I thought that possibility was screwed ages ago! =P
Yes, you are indeed right. Let's primaily hope that this is all about circumstances. I mean obviously this guy still has all the work morals that a person whould have. Perhaps it was mainly a natural "weed out" of the weak links now that things are a bit rough.
It isn't like they have let people go!
I am really rooting for Flagship and Mythos. They could have delivered HGL SO much better, but what is past is past, and I hope they have learned their valuable lesson.
They were the core guys to make D2, so apaprently the "only" thing they need is free reins and unlimited resources, like at Blizzard... If they had just gone that extra mile with HGL, things would probably have been completely different by now...
I don't think this guy is on the Mythos team. I think this whole blog post is about the Hellgate team, which is the main part of FSS. Also, he mentions the bigwigs going to "other projects", I bet that is Mythos.
Jez. So frickin sorry to see this. I had (and still have) great hopes for Bill Roper & Co, to make more great games, like Diablo...
Aah.. Much more bitesize. In all honesty, I like the fact that they are trying to get closer to the community and all by doing these BlizzCasts, but I'm mainly just interested in the facts in the end anyway...
"17. We hear that Jack Thompson's going to be looking for a job really, really soon. Any chance he can work in your administration once you're elected? After all, he is an experienced attorney.
He’s entitled to his opinions."
LOOOOL! =D
Hahahaha!
Well, I would be equally giddy about Diablo 3 as "StarCraft Online" in all honesty. I wonder what this "new" game will be, regardless!
