Its hyper-addictive tbh. I really like the game, but I do realise that it isn't really worth more than some 7/10 or so, because the game wasn't really finished at release. I am very disapointed in Flagship, who might have alienated a lot of players because of this, but things like this happens sometimes.

Oh well! Back to Mind of 314!

I haven't heard of gamepyre before, is that a new site?

Even Warcraft, with its super-fat lore book as it is now started out with a mere 8 pages of text in a small game manual... Oh, those were the times...

I just hope the format wars take enough time so that by the time one wins, there will be tonnes of tools to decode the HD quality media without any big issues. I don't particularely like either format's owner, so who wins is unimportant.

But it is blatantly STUPID to send a cease and deist letter to somethingaweful.com over it. What, do Ubisoft WANT this picture to be spread around the globe? Even if I didn't like it, I spent some time dedicated to see the pic with my own eyes before dismissing this issue. I would assume a lot of people do the same, we just don't like freedom of speech being impaired, even if the end result isn't what you wanted, really. Its the principle!

After reading through the whole article, I feel almost dirty for ever considering buying gold in WoW to ease the farming of getting my mount. I am actually disgusted.

Its been said and will again:

"This is a no-brainer. DRM (aka digital rights management), the industry's answer to piracy, has probably incited more consumers to pirate content than anything else in the history of consumer electronics."

Is always easier to give a bad grade to get publicity. It worked too. 150 degrees in here right now, compared to most reviews barely got past 50 on N4G...

It isnt a 4/10 game, more like 7/10 ATM, and it has (had) potential to be a grade or two better if the yhad finished it before release.

@ Charlie2688 - What is your problem with selling? Right-click, choose "sell", sold? Or shift + right click works too. The billing things were mainly a really bad ima...

I do really hope that they have learned a LOT from this experience, that they have gotten enough cash to be able to publish their next game (or HGL expansion) "full version", and not a "late beta". I mean, I can understand that they are preassured from the outside, and I can deal with getting stuck between two pebbles in a big yard in ruined London, but ffs, now you've done it, no need to do it again.

If all games are cracked even before release, so anyone who know how to, and want to can get a game cracked instead of buying (or like many I know, buy the game if its good, play the cracked, I se NO moral problems with that). Right. Step two is that the people that DESPITE THIS buys the game, might want to use it freely. It would be WELL in their rights to do a backup, so their damn kids don't wreck it, or to play it without a CD.

Now, people get pissed because the "game ...

..let me rephrase that:

He does mention bugs, but that he haven't seen basically any (4 in 20 hours). I think it is refreshing, and gives balance that HGL go a 9/10, compared to some overly negative reviews, where the tester obviously was not a fan of the genre. Somewhere around 8, with a possibility to have been better if the game was more polished, is more what I would have liked to see.

This dude seems to have missed every single bug or flaw in the game. That is very refreshing, on the other hand! The game IS really good, I just wish it had received more polish and love before release.

It was released 31st October in the states, and 02 November in Europe.

Don't you just love it when your favourite TV show brings in PC or Video games as the main content? The WoW episode was awesome, this is looking to be cool as well!

Used mirror link, as the HGL forum is closed for non-players.

Why has it been so low interest in approving this story?

Is it just me, or does the attraction factor of a girl go up ten times when they are real gamers? In nerd language that question is made into a statement: "Game girlz r hawt". I already got a gaming gf, so I'm not looking around though, but the formula definetly holds true!

Yeah, some Zerg previews are well overdue actually! Can't wait.

I don't agree on the grade that Gamespy gave HGL, but they SHOULD have waited a month or two with release. Fix all bugs, maing it more polished and ready. Some 7-8/10 or 4/5 or so is what the game is worth now, imo. It could have been 9/10 or 5/5...
