Demo discs... why did they even go away in the first place? They were teh awesome...
I'm pretty sure they just said that to avoid stupid journalists taking the flare away from WotLK until it shipped and stopped selling copies ;)
Deciding an expansion and releasing is not the same thing, silly =)
Actually, I'm pretty sure they are aiming for a "next year" (meaning early 2010), but whether or not they are able to is another thing. I don't think anyone over there are disappointed if they don't do one every 12 months, honestly.
But I'm sure they would like the dough! ;)
Well, my theory is actually that they already have the next 3-4 ones more or less lined up in terms of planning, but that they are still all open for change. They have at least 5 year or more *plans* for WoW, without a doubt...
Of COURSE there will be a beta. They already said the keys from BlizzCon are SC2 beta keys FFS!
Well, I think the beta is a given. It's like with Sony Ericsson, their quarter releases are usually on the last day of that quarter ;)
That is true, but it's according to this article something completely different.
Retailers set an arbitrary date so that they have a date. They can't set "TBD" like on this document. They need a date som people can preorder, while this doesn't seem to be such an occasion here.
Potentially really good news.
Well, we are going to see some info on the beta quite soon anyway, I think...
Considering they split up the game to three officially means they can focus their efforts more. I think they said months back they focus on SP, which is the main thing,. and the Battle.net team is completely separate...
I would LOVE to have SC2 in my hands in Q1
I think you are negative and actually wrong as well. The Diablo team has always been separate from WarCraft/World of WarCraft. The only team that was on WoW originally is the WC3 team, who are currently doing SC2.
I expect we'll see MUCH more of D3 in 2009, as Blizz regretted revealing SC2 too early, I think D3 is further in dev process than SC2 was when they annouced it.
I think people are just to anxious to wait, and blame Blizzard for them feeing anxious.... Any excuse to throw mud at them...
I think they must be spending so much time doing this... Putting out fires as it were. I mean, people interpret anything they say the way they want it, and lots of fans are very sensitive to webpages overhyping the topic.
Not really pissed on webpages doing it a little bit, but people taking things in without thinking is slightly annoying...
Oh, interesting. I wonder how many people are of the impression that the game is done, and Blizzard is just waiting to release it?
Hehe, love some gaming industry drama =)
Arcade pogo sticks?!
Regardless if it's on the way back or not, that shot is amazing!
Well, I love vampires, but hate high school films. Odd combination...
Lots of MMO news. I still can't wait for that star wars mmo..
Indeed =)
The question is if it works or not.
