There's no bs to point out at this time though. You're being paranoid.
Yea like Xbox gamers haven't bought all the other hack and slash games in droves when they came out like:
Dark Souls series
Devil May Cry series
The Surge
Metal Gear Revengence
Killer is Dead
etc
So is the Playstation.
When they stop selling?
The ones that they are getting game previews from.
MS doesn't take gaming as seriously as the other two. It's that simple. MS is richer than both but Sony and Nintendo still spend more on gaming than they do.
There is no "end game" for games like Sea of Thieves.
I don't understand why people care so much about voice actors. As long as they competently fit the character it's a complete non issue.
The term "high end" for PC gaming isn't just one specification. High end is a broad category. It's basically all PCs who are well above the norm. Not just PCs hitting 4K 60 fps on every game. A PC hitting high settings at 1800p 30 fps on most games could still be considered "high end" because most gaming PCs aren't going anywhere near that. As a matter of fact, 2K could also fall under that umbrella cause most PCs are 720p-1080p at low to medium settings.
I find it hard to believe that people who make enough money to buy a $1200 PC have the time to fanboy all day online.
Kill times in Call of Duty are too quick for Battle Royale. Wouldn't work.
@killswitch
Consoles will always miss out on some graphical features the PC has. So why buy a console in the first place? Admit it, you never had an X.
They wouldn't dare. If Sony decides to release too early it'll likely be underpowered compared to what the next Xbox is bringing to the table. Although, I can't see MS giving the power advantage up to PS again. Seeing as how they were crucified for being the weaker console.
It'll be a cross gen game. Meaning there will probably be features that can only be utilized on next gen console.
@deafdani
I'm not talking about a stable frame rate, I'm talking about a higher frame rate. 60 fps isn't going to be feasible in any gen because frame rate doesn't sell games. Graphics do.
No they didn't back off of it. MS have made no statements as to somehow backing off of it and there's no confirmation of the next Xbox's name. They did in fact back off of VR in order to push MR though.
So basically you haven't played any video games since the PS1/N64. That's the last time high frame rate was prioritized.
What makes you think you had MORE control before?
