Nobody's dismissing anything. Learn better comprehension skills. That's why I said it doesn't matter where the games come from. As long as they're good.
Both consoles have both. What's not good enough is your opinion.
@Goldby
That says nothing. They still play online games just as much as Xbox gamers. So bringing up GOW is totally unrelated.
PS gamers play them just as much so I guess Sony is heading in the same direction.
Where the games come from is irrelevant. Consoles just needs good games period.
How you figure? Sales have not determined which devs showed up at either conference. Kojima has been at Xbox's conference. So has Bethesda, and many other devs who sell more on PS.
CD Project Red are more familiar with MS dating back to Witcher 2. I'd be surprised if they decided to go with Sony this time.
You could say the same for free to play games.
@DarkVoyager
The thing is, nobody's going to give Sony crap about being the less powerful console because of their exclusives. So it would make more sense for MS to try to at least win the power battle.
MS won't let Sony get the power advantage again looking at all the backlash they went through this gen for it. The PS4 was the first console that Sony had the better performing and/or most powerful console starting out. It seems very unlikely that MS will let it happen again.
"Phil Spencer is also GaaS"
Really? Because most of Xbox's biggest franchises and IPs came out under Spencer's management. You do know he was head of game development before right?
Well it didn't stop the major devs from doing it. Plus 1080p tvs also benefit from the X1X.
@Stogz
Well explain to me how it's nonsense. Everything I've said is facts. MS are more successful in their MP endeavours than Sony just like Sony is more successful with single player. If anybody's talking nonsense it's you.
If you're looking for single player than you should know better than to look in MS' direction. Same goes for multiplayer from Sony.
"what gamers want/expect, which is AAA single player experiences in abundance, followed by & leveled out with multiplayer expierences also......"
No that's what you want and expect. Xbox needs games period regardless of whether they are MP or SP. It'd be best if MS focused on MP cause they aren't good at SP. Just like Sony isn't good at MP.
There are literally SP exclusives being released this year.
I don’t understand how people watch golf. All I know is that people like it and they have the right to liking it. And I just leave it there.
They mainly make single player games. Their online modes are treated as a second thought.
I don't think Game Pass is for people looking to keep those games. It's mainly for those gamers who wanted to play through a game once. Like rental stores in the past.
What am I not getting? It seems you and the people replying have a hard time comprehending.
