I don't think this article is saying that everything Sony does is pressured by MS.
Everything companies do is about both it's competition and the consumers.
So they're charging you for a cheat code.
I don't think MS wants a "chance." They just want to be relevant next gen.
It's uses the same mechanics as Origins
Xbox exclusives won't leave game pass
The devs are still getting paid through game pass
@Foxhound922
The build that you've played in the beta is weeks/months old. The version that the devs are working on now is far more optimized and polished. Please stop talking on things you have no knowledge of.
How'd they turn on Nintendo?
Don't think it's that deep. I think they just showed it early in development.
The sweet spot is going to be 1440p 60fps for more demanding games.
Not true. Azure cloud went from being the second largest server infrastructure in the world last gen, to the biggest this gen.
There's hate for anything competitive recently because SP gamers are paranoid in thinking that SP games are going away. So they'll attack anything MP focused.
You're very naive if you believed anything you just typed.
It doesn't have to sell as many units. It has to sell enough. And if Square Enix keeps releasing their RPGs on Xbox then they must be selling enough.
It's not that they can't. They just don't. They rely on the same franchises every gen just like MS. With 1 or 2 surprises each gen like Splatoon or No More Heroes.
I wouldn't trust Nintendo either. They have the same problem that MS has. The difference is they can lean on the dozens of 3rd party Japanese devs who only develop, or mainly develop for Japanese platforms.
Multiplayer isn’t every company’s strongpoint just like single player isn’t every company’s strongpoint. But they can both coexist. MS can’t make single player games just like Sony can’t make multiplayer games.
"So in the grand scheme of things what exactly are ppl talking about?"
I doubt they know themselves. People keep making these predictions that Xbox will cease to exist in *insert year* yet it still remains.
@Eonjay
"Sony doesn't get credit for that though... you know the most important thing."
Lies. Sony gets plenty of praise across the industry for its talented studios and their games.
