Was it really that important to get this information out so quickly that they couldn't fix the title 'Regional Beakdown' really???? Sounds like a list of bird populations or something.
Should that maybe be the spelling Nazi? His grammar was not so poor as his spelling was the issue in his post.
I think a game that attempted to switch things up was Mirror's Edge. But it was a bit lacking in story and was missing that special spark that carried on to gamers across the board.
I do think that Borderlands brought about good style and story scenarios in their FPS try. And the drop in and out of players into the game made it that much better.
You do really need to add immersive story elements and some form of role playing upgrade system into the m...
Good for you... but the game is still awful. A few people still like awful games, just something that happens.
And where is the story and everything else that the article hypes on? No place... Section 8 is just a multiplayer game pretending to have a solo mission.
Lets see... they lied about PSN users needing to use CCV code during purchases. They lied about not knowing why the PSN was down in the first place.(they took it down themselves)
They stated the CC table was encrypted not the data itself. And yet they stated that the card numbers and experation dates might have been compromised but not the CCV security codes. If the table was the sole source of storage for the CC info and it was encrypted then no need to think that the CC ...
So he can cry??? That game is awful!!!
Do I think they hired and paid for good security?
Obviously not good enough if it didn't work.
As for XBox Live being hacked..? Totally possable... anything can be hacked but the question is what information can they get once they get in, and if they do breach security then what procedures are setup to minimalize any damage?
Seeing a broken window in my store and just assuming nothing important got stolen because I don't immed...
@DaTruth
Commenting on something you have no knowledge on is lieing. Regardless of if you intentionally new the information was true or false or if you were just saying something that sounded like what should be said.
Some one asks me what the square root of the speed of light is... I tell them 2.6, am I lieing or did I make a mistake due to the fact that I just had no idea and assumed it was correct?
77 million accounts maybe... it has already been pointed out that the number of accounts versus number of users is likely not equal. More closely to less then half that number would be the users total.
The previous reports state that the files were NOT encrypted.
@PirateThom
And you don't find it funny that so many articles are even being written in the first place? Only that they are being reflected on N4G for people to read??
@Dmarc
Next Thursday...?? Didn't they announce an event for this weekend? Look how that came about to fruition. Don't count on PSN being up till you see it up.
I didn't buy Black Ops due to all the issues... so doubt I will purchase the next if they don't fix the issues.
But his point is that you would be still gaming online right now if you had multiple systems. If playing online isn't your interest then I see your point.
GoW and Uncharted are great games to play through again offline.
BUT... the point in this article is that consumers seem to be allowing their fanboy goggles to paint a rose colored image of Sony in their view. Similar possibly to all those that stuck around with Microsoft after their console issues?...
Regardless of how it looks... both sides are going have boys claiming that they have the better version. It's a never ending fight to prove themselves worthy.
Yep... just sensationalized the story to get more hits. I thought MSWorld was above this type of fanbashing reporting? Guess I was wrong... article Fail.
Examples...?
What did the e-mails say and what exactly is posted on the blog? Any links...? Thanks...
Do bubble boys get to call others trolls??? Doesn't it just fall on deaf ears?
This story is much better written then the previous stories on this issue.
The issue here is... if data was compromised why the late notification to the consumers. But I don't think we have even seen an actual notification yet to consumers so the whole point might be mute? We still aren't aware of exactly what the issue is. Just conflicting reports from Sony camps ...
Another question might be... when will that free PS+ service start? I am assuming after they get the PS store back up and functioning properly? Will the 1 moth free be a set time across the board or will their be a time limit from when you reactivate your password?
Curious to see how this all pans out.
