And this is what a good developer will do, give their customers some extra DLC now and again and don't expect anything from us except to enjoy.
I din't say you were bashing Halo. But you made a statement not a question. You can fix that problem by adding some punctuation when posting.
I was simply giving you the facts that I have read based on your statement in counter to those facts.
No issues...
People that lazy are probably too lazy to push the menu button and go from single player to multiplayer anyway.
Just an idea... train a monkey to do your hard work for you. They can be taught to clean your @ss as you are likely sh@ting your pants while in that bed all winter.
Nobody is saying DVD is the future but some have recognized that claims of Bluray being the future is arrogant at best. Bluray is great with memory but that is about all it has going for it. It is slow and more capable memory alternatives are already in the pipeline.
Now if companies can just separate gaming from movies then maybe we can really gain an advantage and see our game media grow! If you want to make your systems able to play movies so be it. But don't limit ou...
It mentions the issue and fix for PS3. Is the same issue occurring on Xbox and will the fix work for it too?
True but an online Rush mode designated to Air Combat would have been a unique add. And maybe even add some ground command and defense for another play type.
Actually original plan was to have Halo and Gears of War release in off years. Might not have came about exactly as planned but that was the idea at the beginning.
How are they milking Gears of War when they have just only now with the 3rd game finished the trilogy story? Would you have them just simply drop the story mid stream?
The last thing I want to see is getting a kill streak and then getting Glass attack. Do we need this kind of crap in Halo? NO!
I don't want the game to implement perks in the game that are garnished by achievement goals like in CoD. If they want to throw it as another map variant then I don't care, I can ignore it like I do the Living Dead Grifball maps.
The issue is milking it to dryness though. I truly don't think the campaign has been milked to dryness yet, as it is still interesting each time I play the game.
The multiplayer though... I haven't seen enough quality change in it to see it as anything but dry. BUT saying that... people must really like evaporated milk, because they are playing the hell out of that game.
Hit the nail on the head. The future of Journalism = HD versions of already written stories.
And to finish off my bubbles so I don't have to give long boring replies.
Your part where you said: "Is its pricing the 'sweet spot' where less wouldn't deter used sales, and more may deter new sales."
This hits the nail on the head to the real motivation of developers. Deter used sales and try to garnish more sales. How? By trying to get the money that used sales are making.
I can picture future Toyota making new e...
Not sure what you are asking here. You talk about reaching an average?
Lets try and take these ideas one at a time:
1. projected game sales: obviously this is a factor in determining bandwidth needed, but has no impact if you are seeing that 1 person 1 game equals bandwidth. (unless they are just angry thinking they have lost a potential new buyer if no used market, still nothing changed in bandwidth need)
2. average number of players on at o...
Stop with the HD collections.
Ok... ICO and SotC is a good idea, along with maybe Halo original because both are classics that need another look.
But really... bringing back a fighter in HD when they already have basically the same game in a better version anyways? What is up with that?
I was wondering who was going to be the first one to post an ignorant fanboy rant. PoP
I know of 2 companies that can solve this problem now. Microsoft and Sony, they simply have to tell developers they will not accept pay to play option for their consoles.
Unfortunately neither company will join the other to help the consumer in this situation. And neither could do it on their own for fear the developer will only develop for the console that does allow this practice.
Obviously this is campaign footage. Curious how the multiplayer options will be. Would be nice to have a slight voice masking option that gives you that sound of having your mask on in the multiplayer game.
Not seeing an issue with his recording. It might not be HD quality but that could be due to what his recording quality is capable of for his setup.
Other then that the recording was excellent. good sound quality. Not an out of game experience (i.e. camcorder recording TV display coverage). And it didn't have any outside audio interference.
Good job considering.
Article Quote- "While the sales are not “dramatic” in volume, he pointed out that it is all “found revenue” that comes from users who previously “consumed bandwidth for free.”
The problem with this idea is the thought that people who buy used games and play online are consuming bandwidth that they aren't authorized to. That is incorrect, the same amount of bandwidth that would have potentially been used by the original purchaser is still being used. Just not by the o...
I see absolutely no reason why they gimped the PS3 by not offering trophy support? Obviously it wasn't too difficult to do if they gave Achievement support for Xbox 360.
