The reason you're seeing people call into question the reputation of the company is because there is nothing new added here except 'so-and-so said such-and-such.' What new has been brought to the table here? Nothing. They haven't brought forward anything new to support their opinion, so it seems the only thing making this opinion newsworthy is the people that made the argument, not the actual merits of the argument.

I predict a temporary drop in PVP violence, followed by a sharp increase. Players will be less likely to risk dying in petty street beefs when they have money to lose, but once people start saving up even more they'll be able to buy tanks and attack choppers.
The impression I got from reading the article is that it really won't take that long to get the content legit. In fact, they said you will make money faster than in the single player. They even said the economy is based around those that don't want to pay. As long as it's like that, I'm fine. I couldn't care less how long it took some guy I don't know to get his stuff, so long as it's not effecting me.

Tomb Raider sold more than 4 million in six months. Those aren't good numbers? The problem is they had unrealistic expectations. Did they really expect the latest reboot in a struggling franchise (which admittedly is a great game) to do GTA numbers?

1) It's called a patch. How do you think titles that came out before trophy support and the return of rumble received those features? Look no further than Lair to see that a control scheme can be updated via patch.
2) Sony has already said Vita TV will be Dual Shock 4 compatible.
3) There's no need to worry about Vita specific controls becoming obsolete going forward. Developers will just design their games so that you can use DS and Vita controls....
Let me try again. You worrying about that here would be like worrying that Sony might not put gaming first because the PSX, PS2, PS3, and PSP can output to a television.

Some of you really need to get past the name. It's called Vita TV because it's a Vita that outputs on a TV.
