Darn it! That's reading and math!
This interview Marc Whitten did with Polygon gives a good indication of what Microsoft's intentions with the original family sharing for Xbone were, it's potential to come back in the future, and what you can expect from such a program.

After reversing its policy on allowing disc-less play with a 24-hour check-in requirement, Microsoft...
1) That's some logic you're working with there. In case it didn't sink in the first time, if you are going to dedicate a sentence to insulting someone's intelligence then you should probably make sure you don't have typos in that sentence which will make you look like the idiot.
2) This is about people that already have the family plan being forced to convert. I'm not sure what your point is there, or anywhere else for that matter.
3...
1) Spell "their" right if you're going to insult people.
2) Why is this so hard for some of you to get? You have fellow Xbox users telling you what their problem with this is, but you want to rant about N4G fanboys. If you have one 360 system which your entire family shares, then great, super, excellent. You no longer have to buy a family plan or multiple Gold accounts for every account on that one system. If you have a family plan which not only covers multiple...

Come on son. Do you think MS is that stupid? They knew you could use them on other 360 units and had no problem with it. It's the same way Sony knows I can get Plus games through my subscription and my friend can use my subscription to get games for himself without ever having to pay for plus.
Don't fool yourself. MS knew what they were doing with Gold. It's a much more enticing reason to buy more 360 units, instead of sharing with family...
Since I own Sony game systems, I haven't bothered to comment in this article. But if you want to make the conversation about Sony, I'll jump in to correct your false equivalency.
This isn't about what you can do on Xbone. What people (not just "sony boys" but current 360 owners) are upset about is that family plan 360 users with multiple systems under that plan are getting the shaft. Stop typing in caps about every account on one console. We already know...
LOL. I think you're more likely to see a 1 TB SSD ship with every PS4 than that kind of Vita. As I understand it, that type of setup would swing the doors wide open for piracy on the Vita. It would be cool from a consumer standpoint not to have to deal with proprietary cards though.
@aiBreeze
:)
He did beg us to lie to him. Admittedly, a 1 TB SSD may have been a bit over the top. What did you think of the new model Vita that replaces the proprietary memory cards with SD cards? LOL.
1) Refer to Ezz2013's comment on gamescom.
2) You have to take into consideration that Sony is still supporting the PS3 with exclusives. They could easily abandon their consoles like some other companies have by this point. Do you want a few more exclusives now, or to know that seven years down the line Sony will still be supporting your purchase with AAA exclusives, like they did with TLOU?
@nosferatuzodd
You're waiting for Sony to announce the $500 PS4/Vita bundle which will include a 1 TB SSD for the PS4, a newly unveiled Vita model that uses standard SD cards for memory, and the PS4 camera.
How's that?
And you end up paying the same price with the same problems if there are any, because the hardware will still be the same.
My response to this video is "Wii U." How's that lack of a first year install base working for them and their ability to bring 3rd party games to the console?
@doctorstrange
True. I love being able to pop in those old PS2 games if I feel like it.
Is this article serious? They didn't mess up in launching early. They messed up in not taking advantage of launching early.
That's NOT listening to their customers. That's reacting to the lack of customers they were expecting, after looking at pre-order numbers.
If you're going to compare it to PS3, then you need to look at the competition the PS3 had to go up against before reaching 1st place. Wii U is the only new console out right now from the big three.
No, I don't. This was bound to happen to Nintendo with the direction they went in. The Wii was great at appealing to casuals when it hit. The problem is, you can't count on casuals long term. That's why they're casuals. They found a great way to appeal to casuals at the moment they did, but what does that get you in the long run?
It would make it a lot easier for me to come to the kid's defense if just one of the many stories I've seen on this included the entirety of what was said in one quote.
Every time we get the bulk of what he said: the threat. On it's own I'd say that it is deserving of investigation. The father says he added immediately after "LOL" and "JK" but none of the reports I've seen so far have included that along with the original quote. They c...
I don't understand. Why not just charge the controllers using the power of the cloud?
