Sony just wants you to buy Qore...
I could have done without the 'humorous' analysis at the beginning. The individual comments were a good read though.
I'll be picking it up. I have both Motorstorms and I'm sure this will have something that they lack.
Well you won't necessarily be chased by tornadoes but you can get hit by the stuff they're flinging around... http://www.gametrailers.com...
@ Ju - Actually the open world has nothing to do with the DiRT or GRID technologies. The game is being developed by Asobo who were actually developing a game with a wide open world tech named Grand Raid Offroad back before 2005. That game, it seems, ended up becoming FUEL.
It's not inferior as far as size of environments ;)
I think that a comparison cannot be made to the previous month but rather to the previous year at the same time in order to remove the holiday season from the equation. If that is done, Xbox sales in January have improved.
In January of 2008 the 360 sold 608305 units.
In January of 2009 the 360 sold 991213 units.
This is a difference of 382908 which is a 62.9% improvement over the previous year. Not exactly a sign of decline in sales.
Right and now everyone here is running their mouths. Should that make you all targets as well?
The reason that this is occurring is not because of Gabe Newell. Gabe is simply the easiest target for everyone to throw their blame at because he's pretty much the only person at Valve that anyone knows of. The reason this is occurring is that most of the N4G PS3 fanbase were counting on getting a port of Left 4 Dead because of some rumor and, instead of waiting for any sort of verification that it would be released, they felt it was an opportunity to shove it in the face of the 360 users. ...
The behavior of all of these people trashing Gabe exemplifies how immature they are. Nothing more.
The problem, according to their governor general is that game companies are putting the disclaimer, "Experience may change online."
I'm getting visions of Australia becoming the next Nazi empire.
I happen to find his reviews hilarious and very useful. There's so many sites out there that only dwell on hyping the good points of games when they come out that they fail to properly inform you of the drawbacks. That's where Yahtzee comes in. As much as he's hated for dumping on some random fanboy's favorite game once per week, I think his point of view is required to balance out the system. He's pure venomous anti-hype.
For a laugh check out the video where he responded to ...
They should rename it to what it really is...
Need for Speed:GRID
Funny thing is, Forza 2 came out on the 360 in May of 2007 and it still has a very active community. It still manages to make it into the top 10 Live games from time to time.
Successful and more than a few minute/hour jaunt.
Fran Drescher :P
The police car is already in the game...

Well if that's not what it says, what does it say?
from what I've heard the data shown includes handheld systems which Microsoft doesn't have one of...
Calling the Wii a toy was wrong. It's basically an econo-console.
A better analogy would have been to call the Wii a Ford Escort where as the PS3 and Xbox 360 are akin to Ferrari and Lamborghini.
You're never going to get the same performance out of the Wii as you will out of the PS3 or 360. Never.
