GT5 Prologue didn't even sell more than Forza 2. You apparently have no idea what you're talking about.

Why does everyone in the GT crowd act like NASCAR is a good thing to have? The only worthwhile license that GT did get is WRC and they're about to waste it.
The problem is that there's nothing to get excited about with GT5. It's the exact same game with prettier graphics. It's going to be the same Gran Turismo that everyone's played 4 times before.
Note: The only reason I'm saying this is that if Gran Turismo was worth getting excited about, the PS3 gang wouldn't have to make rediculous comments on Forza 3 articles.
They improved the vehicle handling in this game by so much. It's amazing. I can't wait for this to come out.
Molgen Golgen!!!
But most men would rather play with Britney than Mozart.
What good is having over 1000 cars if 900 of them are different models of the Honda Civic.
Haha this company basically is claiming to own Web 2.0
That's because murderers and pedophiles don't hurt corporations whereas piracy does and corporations have more rights than humans do in this wonderful world.
I agree with you in that the bump mapping (or displacement mapping) of the tires is quite more noticable in the GT shot but that's also a comparison between off-road and street tire treads. That said the Forza tread could use a bit more depth.
The problem with the comparison shots that you've linked to is that the "gameplay" shots are pictures taken of a TV screen. They're not direct feed and as such they're really washed out.
heh maybe he was trying to check out Forza 3's damage model. ;)
The reason that most of the videos don't look as good as the screenshots is that the screenshots aren't filmed off of a tv using a handicam while at E3. They're direct feed and so far the only true direct feed video that's been released by Turn10 was this one...

GT5 grabbing the WRC license is a waste. Way to grab that license and not make a true WRC simulation.
I can agree with you on that. There isn't a single simulation out there that gets everything 100% perfect though.
Actually it depends on the brake disc material. If you watch the Top Gear video with the Stig doing a single lap around the Top Gear test track the discs are glowing by the end of the one lap.

In response to your comment about brake discs not lighting up, here's a photograph of a Ferrari FFX with some nice hot rotors.

Considering the team developing it is the exact same team that developed City of Heroes, I doubt it. Plus the Champions game system has been running for ages in Pen & Paper form.
DC and Marvel have a team trademark or copyright over the word Superhero. Not the word Champions or Heroes, nor do they have any rights to the concept of supernatural powers.
Once again, thanks for making me look like the mature, intelligent person in this discussion. You assume too much.
Remember the first step to living in a dictatorship is allowing your government to get away with the small, seemingly insignificant, stuff. If you let Micrsoft get away with publishing small insignificant adds on an out of the way blade it won't be long before you're sifting through ads trying to find your content.
Actually I think it has more to do with Poland than with Microsoft...
