I guess it has some sort of use commercially. Though you would think some sort of housing would work just fine. But there is probably some applications for it that I am not aware of.

I downloaded it last night and the sucker is quick. I do have a Mac though. Also very sharp looking.
The irony is Im still using Firefox right now, simply out of habit. Safari uses Webkit, which is the way to go really. But my beef with Safari is no extensions or toolbars. If it were just a bit more customizable...

It surprised me that it looks pretty good. I used to think the Halo console was fugly from pics, but when I saw one at a friends house, it looked MUCH better. I like the military olive green color. But the drive shoulda been black instead of gold.
Is it just me or is that a matte red? If so it looks much better than I thought. I would probably prefer a black or white one, but the red isnyt bad.
And....the gunmetal PS3 just might be the coolest color console ever...

Sony definitely brought things along in 1995. I remember having a Jaguar, and then playing Twisted Metal and realizing what a terrible mistake I had made.
I give Sony props for doing what they did, but I think it had more to do with the progression of technology then any one company. Better tech lead to better storytelling and more mature themes.

On Arcade titles. But the Xbox Originals can be whatever size, same with DLC. They could easily offer full-game downloads in the future as well.

Cool read. I dont totally agree with some of his assertions, such as stating the price of the 360 at $199, while its only been that price since August, and they still sell more of their $299 Premium. Dont wanna nitpick, but he was talking about leaving stuff out.

These numbers mean next to nothing. Both services have plenty of members, but we know which one has more people actually playing games. And people that actually talk.
I said this in an earlier article: Mouse/KB have no place in console gaming, at least in MP. If you use it, you're a cheating piece of crap.
To me, using a mouse on console is just as bad as those modified rapid fire controllers. You know that 99.9% of people ARENT using the mouse, so I just dont get it. How important is this stuff to some people?

Sorry folks, but LP2 looks insane. The whole thing looks like CG. I am honestly shocked...Capcom my well be THE dev for this year. RE5, LP2, DR2, SFIV, Bionic Commando....they are killin it.
You cant compare the CELL in the PS3 to other CELL processors for the simple fact that the PS3's CELL is in-order execution. The CELL used in the PS3 could never compare to the CELL or i7 being used in those types of applications.
Also, there is no CELL or comparable processor being used in a professional sense that is not sporting some serious RAM, at least 4GB.
Even if its for a week, its still a trip to see the Xbox on top of both HW and SW. Making inroads...
If MS could make a slim 360 at a good price, it would sell like hotcakes there.
