I have no idea why Kushan would get so many disagrees for speaking an obvious truth: MS builds much of the SW used to make games, and its much easier to use those tools with the 360.
I think people either forget, are in denial, or are just stupid. MS makes SW, games are SW. Pretty simple.
So again, its no problem to program for the PS3 and go back to the 360, but starting with the 360 will give you issues with the PS3.
Im no programmer, but common sense tells me that the PS3's architecture is limited for games, meaning you CAN get great performance, but you really have to optimize and use every trick in the book, something many devs either dont have the manpower for and/or are unfamiliar with.

I played that a couple of times in the arcade (the old days...), and I dont remember it looking so much like Mortal Kombat. That character select screen was a blatant ripoff, perhaps the worst I have seen. I do remember that game was goofy as all hell, but it was responsive and had a decent combo system.

Definitely something different...the idea that everyone can contribute to a common goal is a good one. I personally dont see myself messing around with this when I have too many games to play as it is, being that there is no missions or objectives.

Not even that K2 'won', its not even a complete article. Was I the only one that looked at this and said "what?". The thing talked about K2 the whole time and hardly mentioned Gears at all.

EDIT: I saw the video now. I think both games defintely have areas in which they both look strong. Texture work on the environment is evidently better in Gears, as is the character detail, and Gears is sharper on the whole. K2 has very good ef...
When I first saw the 'bullet' commercial (which I also saw this morning on Comedy Central), thats the first thing I thought. Why show CG if this titles biggest draw is the graphics?
