Thats a lotta DL's. Though its not an official number. But I love how people assume it is, and then also quickly forget that the game has plenty of time to get more sales...its only been out for a couple of months time.

The PS2 is old hat now, while the Wii represents a new take on gameplay. The Wii may not be "next-gen" in terms of horsepower, but in terms of gamer experience it most certainly is.
While the PS2 will definitely see a short-term increase in sales with that drop, its not taking any chunk out of the Wii.
Just in simple price terms, whats a $30 difference gonna matter when the Wii is $250? At $130, the PS2 was still half the price.

Dark has been right in all of his posts about VGChartz. I dont see what people's big problem with them is. It is virtually impossible to have 100% correct sales data all the time, everyone knows that.
But VGC is great because not only do they do weekly, they do it for all markets, and have the game sales for the top 200 titles every week (u need to be a member to see the full list; its free)...

I also own Wipeout HD, and its an awesome and great looking game, but you must be nuts to think its not possible on 360. Its made of clean textures and simple shapes for the most part, just executed very well. Motorstorm though? Are you crazy? A pretty good looking game sure, but not as good ...
Is anyone really that surprised? Obviously Killzone 2 is no system seller (because the game is good but not great), and its nothing short of a huge disappointment that one of the most-hyped game this gen so far failed to do big numbers. I think Bioshock on 360 moved better in the same time frame. Thats gotta hurt.
