One of the best movies ever, definitely.
Baraka is amazing...its not a movie though, at least in the normal sense. Its a mash-up of footage captured from around the globe, no narration, just giving u a real sense of the huge world we all live in. Its all masterfully shot, and looks incredible.

Not so great review. I dont know why Hilary Goldstein bothered to review this game if he's barely gonna review it.
First off, this game feels nothing like Alien Hominid HD. Yes, they're both action side-scrollers, but the comparos end there.
He didnt even touch on the combo system. Sure you COULD just mash buttons, but this game is not about that. And for graphics it should have gotten at least a 9.

CNET is the biggest, most-respected electronic site out there, with a multitude of editors and writers, each with their own thoughts on things. Which is why its a great site. But just because you see one opinion on CNET about something doesnt mean the whole site feels that way.

First off, few games even use uncompressed sound.
Second, 99% of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Third, very few people have the right kind of setup to completely get everything out of that audio.
Dolby Digital, even at 640Kbps, is nearly indistinguishable from uncompressed sound, especially if you dont have very good speakers.
Not to mention while video games have increasingly bette...
they have Baraka right at the top. I have seen it on DVD before, but never on BR. The film was shot on super-high rez cameras, and then originally digitized at 8K (1080p is 2K, and 35mm film is roughly 4K, just to give an idea).
From what I hear its second-to-none for picture quality. I just ordered it on Amazon for only $16.49 new.

First off, far more multiplats are sold than exclusives, and we all know which system does better there.
Secondly, this is barely March. Despite that, we have seen GTA 4: TLAD, which is very highly-rated and is selling extremely well. Then there's of course, Halo Wars which just released. Also, games from Nov/Dec are STILL selling well on 360. Gears 2...
