Question - I had the 60gb then sold it. Now I've bought the 40gb. I know it won't play PS2 games but will it play PS1 games you can download from PSN (and downloadable PS2 if they ever have them)?
Seriously Spike and Chad...explain it to me. What is this need to say "my PS3 is better than your XBox360" over and over and over again? I mean, you do realize how immature it sounds, right? If you don't, I'm telling you now. Play both systems, they're both good in their own ways and to say otherwise just shows you to be a fool. You're no better than the "xbots" you like to talk about. Seriously, I have seen children playing in the sandbox with more maturity. I woul...
@3.4 - Well said. Besides, those videos are pretty funny sometimes.
LOL...someone disagreed with me for asking a question.
Chad continues with his one-sided fan boy comments. Shocker.
Has anyone heard anything about when the Wii will be in stock at stores? It's now after the holidays and I'm wondering when it will be commonly available. I've looked all over the internet but can't find any stories about it other than ones linking you to wiitracker websites. I don't want to have to run one down. I want to know when I can walk in to a Best Buy or Gamestop and know they'll have one for $250. Anyone heard anything? Thanks!
(Sorry this is slightly off topic....
I would think they're sad and make fun of him/her, but I'd also sit in it and try it out LQTM
haha...yes you/we are
How 'bout they just work on actually stocking some damn Wii's in the stores.
I love Halo but I avoid buying anything that decreases my chances of ever getting laid again.
We all have to be honest here, the triggers kind of suck. Triggers should be shaped like, well, triggers! Concave not convex. A little more resistance on it would be nice too. While the 360 controller feels like you're pushing against a spring the PS3 feels more like bent plastic is used for the resistance. Hopefully they'll address this when they add the rumble feature.
It sucks if XBL is down and Microsoft should throw in some free points since it seems to be a problem as of late. BUT I've had the same problem on my PS3 now and then but they never say there's a problem with PSN. (And it's not my internet connection b/c when it happens I always test it.) At least Microsoft is admitting there's an issue. Now just throw in some points and we'll all be happy :)
*Actually, they probably would throw in some free points but then all the PS3 fa...
I bubbled you up. I'm tired of people disagreeing with people when they're just stating their recent experience. I myself haven't had any problems but I haven't played in a couple days as I've been working.
I think you just need to use both to see for yourself. PSN is fine but it feels very unfinished. Live has a much more polished interface, it's way easier to navigate through and has a great deal more content. Hopefully Home will catch them up a bit.
How in the world did someone just disagree with what you said? I've been relatively lucky as well. Haven't had any problems recently. I guess someone will disagree with that though. Oh quick, I better add...I haven't had any issues with my PS3 either! There, happy fanboys?
You could not be more right. I have both systems and feel the exact same way. Bubble up.
Don't post that stuff here. It just shows immaturity. People are entitled to their opinions and we don't need to sift through mindless flaming while we're trying to read posts.
Having said that, digitally downloaded hi def movies will not replace the physical format for at least 15 years, if ever. It may grow as a niche market in the next 5 years but it will likely never replace physical media for all the reasons already listed.
I loved Bioshock but I'm not sure how I feel about a prequel...all I can think of is Star Wars. Like with Star Wars, while the prequels filled in some information and there were interesting parts, it was hard to feel the sense of excitement you felt with the originals - because you already know the ultimate ending. Besides, a Bioshock prequel seems like it would have too many limits on it. I mean, you shouldn't be able to have any better plasmids or powers because it wouldn't make sense tha...
I agree...I was trying to be nice. The Rock was decent but Armageddon and Pearl Harbor were horrible. Although I purchased Transformers I haven't watched it yet.
I own it and I like it a lot. It will still play the HD DVD's I bought so I'm not that upset. Also, I have a PS3 already so I'll just buy all my future hidef movies on Blu ray. If I didn't have the PS3 too I'd probably be a little upset.
