That's a whole lot of hassle and money for one game.
I can see it now: "Achievement Unlocked: Where's my money, bitch?"
There might be some fanboys moderating N4G though so I don't know if that would work. I love that my idea to reduce fanboys has gotten 4 disagrees and 0 agrees. This place is just overrun with fanboys.
It's sad. Here we have an adult that likes to play video games and he gets one bubble because he likes his XB1's. Now I'll get disagrees and lose bubbles for pointing that out.
ah, dedicatedtosony has given some more anti-MS (anti-gaming) opinions. Sold millions but it's overstocked. Umm, OK. Curious to what consoles you own. I'm guessing all Sony? I own both. I highly doubt you do. dedicatedtogamer's my a$$.
Bubble for you sir. At least a couple other people get it.
That type of rational talk isn't allowed here you know ;)
Really? I challenge anyone to play COD Ghosts or Battlefield on the PS4 and XB1 and tell me they noticed a difference in performance. If anything, most non-fanboys have complained about COD not playing as well on the PS4...not sure if it's a controller or software issue but my guess is a bit of both. Do you own both consoles? I do.
Gryest, while I will agree that the PS4 may have a slight edge on number of games it is most certainly NOT well documented that the PS4 games look better than their XB1 counterparts. That might change in the future but right now they look identical. I own both. COD Ghosts and Battlefield look virtually indistinguishable on the two consoles. It IS well documented that the PS4 has more powerful RAM but there is still debate as to whether it will end up making a noticeable difference.
Wow Fantasm, just wow.
Idea - N4G adds a way for people to verify what consoles they have and it displays that under their avatar. Why? Because it would help stop so much of this constant fanboy BS that dominates the content here.
Fact is, no one that actually owns (or has spent significant time playing) both consoles and possess a rational mind would say either console is all good or all bad. The truth is they both have positives and negatives but overall they are both great consoles.
We all know who's a fanboy.
I'm not ready to call it the next big thing or write it off but it does look interesting. Like any product, its success or failure will come down to numerous variables - content, user experience, size and weight, price, etc.
@Pandamobile That is one of the funniest things I have ever read on here. Literally laughed out loud.
It's already dropped. $450 WITH Titanfall included.
"Whitten was hired by Microsoft right out of college in 1997 and worked on the Windows team before joining the Xbox division in 2000. He was involved with the launch of the original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the Xbox Live platform. His last day at Microsoft was March 21 and he's now working as chief product officer at audio company Sonos."
That's quite a nice little career. I'm jealous.
Bubble for you. I did the same thing and got both.
I agree and disagree. The crowd reaction to XB1 was so immature before and did not represent the majority of customers. I like to see what's announced at things like E3 but I couldn't care less how the crowd there reacts to it. Too many easily manipulated fanboys there.
What are they matching? I did see that it's $450 at Best Buy (when I checked out online.) Is that what they're matching?
The comments seem to fall into two camps: I've played it but I'd buy it again, and I haven't played it but would love to on the PS4. Seems like a no-brainer for them to make it. I'm in the second camp and was figuring I'd end up streaming it on PS Now but having a game developed specifically for PS4 is much better.
