I'd rather have themes too but to fanboys, that somehow sounds anti-Sony because it makes it appear what was in this article is not the greatest thing since sliced bread. And if you are a fanboy you MUST treat every new feature as the greatest thing ever.
I agree it could be a great feature. Time will tell. It seems there are significant technical hurdles that they didn't explain how they will overcome. I know if I tried to stream anything with my upload speeds it would look awful.
It was a major click bait article filled with problems. But it got lots of hits for "Business Insider" so goal accomplished. That's the pathetic state of journalism these days. No integrity whatsoever.
Because with most people have 5Mb/s upload speed there will be significant lag and/or degradation in video quality. Downloading would solve that. Or you could just do the traditional demo route. Not sure why this is a big deal.
Edit: Stop using logic LAWSON72, that doesn't work when everyone is stuck in group think mode. Just nod your head and agree this is the greatest thing ever. ;)
No, no, no. You want to use a metal grinder...like this: http://cfnewsads.thomasnet....
It would be several pages of posts from Sony fans saying this proves how much Sony loves them. Celebratory circle jerks would ensue. Xbox owners would shrug and keep using their Xbox or also buy a PS4 if they love Tomb Raider that much.
100% agree. The complaints here are the height of hypocrisy. Though I have owned two PS4's, I have to say that I cannot stand their increasingly illogical, immature fan base. Skaninruby's reply is a great example. Page after page of complaining about MS and then one comment pointing out said whining and skank calls MS "loyalists" loud-mouthed whiners. (Not to mention commenting on someone's grammar while having multiple errors in his own post.)
And this is why people hate Sony fanboys so much. My God you guys whine on and on about the most trivial things AND act like hypocrites. Does Sony not have exclusives? Why is it OK for them but not MS? I'm sure I'll lose a bubble now because I didn't suck up to the droves of Sony fanboys here but I really do not care. I call people out when they deserve it. I have never seen such a degree of immaturity as demonstrated here.
John Doe...you've been gaming since the 70's and you still behave this immaturely? Grow up man. Every console has it's exclusives. Why are you whining so much about this? Besides, it's just Tomb Raider.
He's 5'10. That's not short.
See my comment on page 2. You guys are hilariously sad...or just children that "think" they understand business finance. MS and Xbox are doing just fine.
Edit: I can't believe someone agreed with Savage Beasts comment.
@Septic...these kids don't know what "Goodwill" is as it relates to accounting. They think you're just talking about literal goodwill. I'll post this here but I think they'll get lost at intangible asset.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It's funny and scary at the same time.
Are you really that clueless or are you just trolling?
The lack of business acumen here is not surprising. I love the grand conclusions made from one piece of a financial statement. There is absolutely nothing in the snippet provided that leads me to believe the Xbox One or MS is in trouble. You guys would lose your shirts if you tried to invest on your own.
@Kid Prodigy KP...Did you seriously just "hell yeah" Sony not giving you the option to use EA Access? Are you that blinded by your loyalty to one console over the other?
Is it taught by Professor Maria Delfutura? ;)
Someone missed nap time.
This is nice for XB1 owners that like to download their games but I'm still a disc guy when it comes to newer games. I like to play it till I get tired of it and then sell it. Game companies don't like that so if they can encourage more downloads it's a win for them. It's nice to have this option but I wouldn't get too excited. I'd still rather have a disk when I can. Also, if my hard drive goes out I don't have gigs and gigs of stuff to redowlnload.
I'd like that but I'd be surprised since it's doing well.
That's the exact opposite experience I had. Played well on my XB1 and crashed constantly on my PS4. Many support threads show I wasn't the only one having that experience, but whatever.
