LOL, I know right! NORAD was awesome in that movie. Great film.
I agree on the 3D thing. I still do not understand the hold up on that. It is not new technology. A little pissed at Sony right now. I had to send in my console for service. I got it back today...sort of. It's not mine. They shipped me someone else's. So some guy in Pennsylvania is also pissed right now because I have his.
In chat with Sony right now and they say "oops, we did make a mistake in shipping. you need a senior advisor. please call us at blah b...
I'm still waiting for both of them to get 3D.
I think the people thinking this doesn't look sic-fi enough would be really disappointed if they saw NORAD. Most everything is done directly from the PC. You don't need lots of extraneous blinking lights and buttons like they have in the movies.
@MysticStrummer...I still play Ghosts but that was pretty funny. It's definitely missing something. Or maybe we're just getting tired of them not fixing some of the problems. Plus the Ghosts story is not interesting or engaging at all.
I hope they go back to what made HALO CE so engaging. You felt like YOU were Master Chief. In the others it just feels like you're a random, replaceable character. Idk, I'm probably not explaining it right.
I loved HALO CE. Got me excited about gaming again. That and Bioshock.
Going along with what you said, they need to make it for bigger hands or make a large version.
I really wanted to like it but I returned it after two days. I don't have large hands but the controls were just too small for me. Also didn't like then R2 L2 on the back.
YESSSSS!
My problem has been it not responding to controller inputs or doing do very sluggishly. Just sent it to get serviced yesterday so hoping they can fix it. I don't know what would cause it.
I agree. But I'm really impressed with how the Xbox One and PC look almost identical.
Lol, you guys and the "made the switch." I just got both systems.
Hopefully my PS4 is working by then. :(
Care to explain the disagree there?
It's a shame because Facebook started out great and now it's just up in everyone's business. I'm afraid to "like" anything that's not rated G because the whole world will see it.
Yes, I have good memories of playing the PS1 and the games being awesome, but now they just look dated. Resident Evil is a great example. Still a good game but the blurry/blocky graphics is hard to watch now.
That's great for you. However, there are many of us that don't have a PS2 and PS3 still hooked up to our TV's. There are also those that are just coming in (or back in) to the PS realm with the PS4. Sony is trying to cater to ALL of its customers, not just you.
Looks fun but the volcano thing is laughable. Blowing up some C4 on a volcano makes it rain down fiery rocks ONLY on your enemies? What's next, summoning a tornado?
I'm hoping COD goes back to making a kick ass WW2 Europe game all next genned up. Heck, I actually played the campaign on COD 2 and loved it. It felt like it mattered.
Now they're saying they gave me the right system but just the wrong receipt. It only barely fixed the issue though. I guess FPS's just aren't gonna be playable on this thing until they update the firmware but right now the intermittent lag is awful.
